A semifinales de la mano de Costa y Marchesín

Gracias al gol de Ayrton Costa, Boca logró abrir el marcador ante un Argentinos Juniors que propuso muchísimo fútbol, teniendo la tenencia de la pelota e incomodando al «Xeneize», que sería salvado nuevamente por Agustín Marchesín con varias atajadas claves ante Oroz, Lescano y el delantero Tomás Molina. Por su parte, el equipo de Úbeda pudo haberlo liquidado en el primer tiempo, pero se encontró con un errático Milton Giménez, que no pudo convertir. Pese a esto, clasificó a semifinales del Torneo Clausura y enfrentará a Racing en la Bombonera.

Argentinos arrancó el partido mejor que Boca, con un remate de Oroz que taparía Agustín Marchesín. Unos minutos después, el «Bicho» tendría otra chance de cabeza, pero nuevamente el arquero lograría contener. Ya a los cinco minutos, y tras otro centro de Leandro Paredes, Merentiel remataría, el arquero Siri iría abajo y, en el rebote, Ayrton Costa marcaría el primero, convirtiendo su tercer gol con la camiseta de Boca.
El equipo de Nico Díez tendría más la pelota que los de Úbeda, pero sin ser efectivo, creando solo una chance de convertir por los pies de Fattori, que remataría cerca del palo.
Boca, por su parte, tendría dos chances clarísimas: la primera por el chileno Palacios, que dispararía a colocar, mandando su remate al travesaño, y la segunda por Milton Giménez tras un buen centro de Exequiel Zeballos. Siri taparía el remate del número nueve y Boca se iría al descanso con la ventaja por un solo tanto.

La superioridad de Argentinos en el segundo tiempo y las atajadas de Marchesín

El «Bicho», con la obligación de ir a buscarlo en la segunda mitad, dominaría el partido completamente, teniendo muchas chances para empatarlo y cuidando muy bien la pelota. Boca, por su parte, ante el asedio de los de Nico Díez, respondería con la defensa de Costa y de Di Lollo, pero no podría crear chances de gol.
El primer remate sería de Alan Lescano, que dispararía abajo y desde afuera del área, pero Marchesín lograría tapar el remate. Minutos después, tras un centro, Tomás Molina cabecearía, pero de milagro no lograría el empate.
Ya cerca del final, nuevamente Molina tendría una chance clarísima para llevar el partido al alargue, pero un gran Agustín Marchesín salvaría el arco «Xeneize», logrando meter a Boca en su décima semifinal en esta década.

¿Cuándo se juega el clásico entre Boca y Racing?

Racing eliminó a Tigre tras el 0-0 en el tiempo regular y suplementario, le ganó 4-2 por penales y Boca ya sabe que tendrá que ganar el clásico para meterse en la final del Torneo Clausura. El partido se disputará en La Bombonera el domingo siete de diciembre, a las 23:00 en España y a las 19:00 en Argentina.
