El Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán acogía otro duelo vital para el Sevilla FC frente al CA Osasuna en la jornada 22 de la LaLiga EA Sports. El conjunto de Quique Sánchez Flores, tras la eliminación copera, quería resarcirse ante los suyos con una victoria valiosísima para alejarse de los puestos de descenso. Por su parte, los de Jagoba Arrasate visitaban el feudo sevillista tras vencer en casa ante la Real Sociedad.

Primera Parte

El partido empezó con minutos de tanteo entre ambos equipos. Sin embargo, fue el equipo local quien gozó de la primera ocasión clara del encuentro tras un recorte de Isaac Romero dentro del área que obligó a Sergio Herrera a realizar una gran parada. Con el paso de los minutos, el partido se igualó tanto que no estaba pasando nada interesante ni se gozó de ocasiones claras.

En el 24´, Marcos Acuña sacaba de banda para un Isaac que la controlaba con el pecho, se marchaba del defensa que le cubría y con un disparo potente adelantaría al Sevilla en el marcador. Quería más el Sevilla y tras una jugada entre Isaac y Ocampos casi finaliza en el segundo tanto del partido si no lo llega a evitar Sergio. Osasuna quería hacer saber que estaban en el partido y que el gol no les hizo añicos tras un disparo de Moi Gómez desde fuera del área que atrapa en dos tiempos Nyland. Sin embargo, el cuadro rojillo no estaba poniendo en peligro la portería sevillista.

Al descanso, el marcador sería de 1-0 con victoria momentánea del Sevilla gracias al gol de Isaac.

Segunda Parte

Ahora era el Osasuna quien se hacía con el dominio del esférico. Los de  Arrasate habían finalizado bien el primer tiempo y en este segundo acto querían transformar su buen juego en forma de gol. Algo que hicieron tras un saque de esquina botado por Osasuna al segundo palo que remata David García mal pero que aún asi hace que le caiga el balón a un Budimir que no perdona y pone las tablas en el marcador. El tanto del empate sentó mal al Sevilla y el Osasuna empezó a someterle y a encerrarlo en su propia área. No obstante, pese a los intentos osasunistas el Sevilla se vendría arriba en busca del tanto de la victoria ya que era vital una victoria hoy ante el difícil calendario que se le venía encima.  Por ello, Quique movia el banquillo para meter a Rafa Mir y jugar con dos delanteros arriba en busca de la épica

En los minutos finales, Suso realizaría una dura entrada que haría que el Sevilla acabase jugando con 10. Las malas noticias proseguían para un equipo que pudo acabar perdiendo tras un disparo de Aimar Oroz que salió fuera por poco. Moncayola también lo intentó aunque con el mismo final. En una de las ultimas jugadas de la segunda parte, Sergio Ramos lo intentó con un latigazo de Ramos que paraba Sergio Herrera para salvar a Osasuna.

El marcador final sería de 1-1 en un partido en el que al Sevilla no le vale ni de una manera ni de otra ya que sigue con el agua al cuello.
