Alonso y Carlos Sainz correrán en casa este fin de semana, donde llegamos con una igualdad entre varias escuderías

Esta vez los pilotos españoles correrán desde el Circuito de Montmeló, en Barcelona. Un circuito en el que se llevan realizando carreras de Fórmula 1 desde 1991, debido a que en años anteriores se ha realizado en circuitos como Jerez, Valencia o el Jarama.

En cambio, el Gran Premio de España lleva existiendo desde 1923, aunque no siempre se ha considerado válido para la Fórmula 1. Además, durante unos años, se llamó Gran Premio de Europa. En 1994 y 1997 en Jerez, y de 2008 a 2012 en Valencia.

Un Gran Premio que posee dos grandes vencedores Michael Schumacher y Lewis Hamilton, ambos con 6 victorias cada uno. Este fin de semana podremos ver si Lewis Hamilton consigue ganar el séptimo, después de un buen fin de semana en Canadá para Mercedes.

Respecto a la última edición, el ganador fue Verstappen, tras él, Hamilton y una tercera posición de George Russell.

Pilotos españoles

Aunque nuestros pilotos corran en casa, Montmeló nunca ha sido beneficioso para los intereses de los españoles. Donde Fernando Alonso el año pasado no consiguió mucho y Carlos Sainz quedó lejos de la victoria, veremos si este año es diferente.

Sin embargo, es cierto que Alonso tiene un total de tres victorias en el Gran Premio de España. Por el lado de Sainz, el piloto todavía no ha conseguido subir al pódium, esperemos que con el gran principio de temporada del piloto, al menos consiga una buena posición.
