La carrera ya nos dejaba las primeras incógnitas con una lluvia media hora antes del GP que finalmente no ha afectado a la salida, Verstappen y Alonso salían con blandos un poco a la inversa, sin embargo la salida no ha estado exenta de incidentes, con un toque entre Piastri y Norris que acaba en un endplate colgando para el piloto australiano, sin embargo uno de los grandes protagonistas de la carrera ha sido Fernando quien se ha marcado una salida a su más puro estilo, pasando de una P10 a una P8 con un adelantamiento bestial a Hadjar que me ha recordado inevitablemente al adelantamiento a Groesjan en Valencia 2012, todo mientras Russell lograba coger distancias y empezar a hacer su carrera desde el liderazgo.
Primeros problemas, paradas y neumáticos al límite.
Las primeras paradas no tardarían en llegar, sin embargo antes llegarían los primeros problemas para Verstappen que no serían de neumáticos, sino de frenos, ya que el piloto holandés reportó problemas para cambiar de marchas, apenas 2 vueltas más tarde Tsunoda sería el primer piloto en parar seguido de Bortoleto que se veía obligado a cambiar el alerón tras un toque en la salida con Stroll, mientras tanto Fernando empieza a sorprender ya que cuando parecía que el neumático blando empezaba a caerse cambió el ritmo marcando vueltas rápidas personales y alejando a Hadjar de zona de DRS.

Sin embargo Fernando no se rindió, yendo más rapido que antes si eso era posible, adelantando a Hadjar de nuevo con un adelantamiento casi igual de bueno que el primero, mientras tanto por atrás la batalla campal estaba servida entre los equipos colistas, con los Alpine, los Kick y Ocon batallando, batalla que acabó con Hulkenberg trompeando después de que el coche se le fuese de atrás, tras esto la FOM nos regresaba a Fernando quien adelantaba a Bearman recuperando así la 8ª posición y solucionando una vez más los desastres dele quipo.
