El Real Madrid recibirá en el Bernabéu al Arsenal con intenciones de vivir una noche mágica más

El Santiago Bernabéu puede volver a convertirse en el escenario de una noche increíble. Tras haber perdido 3-0 en el Emirates, el Real Madrid sabe que tiene que ir con todo si quieren pasar a semifinales y seguir en la conquista de la decimosexta.

El partido podrá seguirse a través de Movistar Plus+ a partir de las 21:00 horas del 16 de abril.

¿Habrá remontada?

Según han ido avanzando los días previos al partido cada vez son más los aficionados que creen en una posible remontada. Los propios jugadores han inundado las redes sociales con mensajes que inspiran la confianza de los fans. El vestuario está unido y parece creer que es posible vivir otra locura en la capital de España.

El propio Asencio dijo después de la ida en Inglaterra que estaban convencidos de que le iban a dar la vuelta. Declaraciones de este tipo alimentan la confianza de todo el mundo y la expectación previa a este choque de titanes. Además, Carlo Ancelotti comentó en rueda de prensa que el equipo está motivado e ilusionado.

Los «gunners» vienen de empatar el fin de semana frente al Brentford. Aunque está claro que es casi imposible que ganen la Premier League, es un pinchazo que aumenta los ánimos en los merengues.

Siguen con las mismas bajas que en la ida. En principio no podrán contar con Havertz, Gabriel, Calafiori ni Gabriel Jesús. Aunque esto no le supuso ningún problema a los de Arteta para salir vencedores en la ida.

Real Madrid

Los de Ancelotti vienen de ganar al Alavés 0-1 en Mendizorroza en un partido en el que estuvieron con 10 desde el minuto 40. La expulsión de Mbappé marcó el ritmo del partido. Pero Manu Sánchez fue expulsado en el 70´ y eso equilibró las tornas. Aunque no fue el mejor partido del Real Madrid esto no hace que la gente no crea en la posible remontada.

Ancelotti no podrá contar con Camavinga tras estar sancionado por acumulación de amarillas ni con Ferland Mendy que sigue lesionado. Estas son las bajas además de los jugadores que llevan toda la temporada con lesiones de larga duración.

«Gunners» y merengues solo se han enfrentado en tres ocasiones en la historia. En ninguna de ellas el Real Madrid ha conseguido ganar. Lo máximo que ha conseguido el conjunto blanco es un empate. Esto fue en la temporada 2005/2006, donde el Arsenal eliminó a los merengues en octavos de la UEFA Champions League.

Veremos si es el Madrid se impone a las estadísticas.
