El atacante británico no ha conectado con Rúben Amorim, crítico con la actitud del jugador. Esto ha llevado al técnico portugués a excluirlo de diversas convocatorias en los últimos partidos. La relación entre Amorim y Rashford, así, se considera rota.
Rashford no tendría problemas en buscar un nuevo destino. Y el Manchester United está abierto a dejarlo marchar, tal y como apunta Relevo. Sin embargo, los red devils se encuentran con diversos problemas. Uno de ellos concierne el salario del jugador, que asciende a los 13 millones, sin considerar los derechos de imagen. Esto llevará con toda probabilidad al United a considerar una cesión en lugar de un traspaso.
En este sentido, el Milan aparece como un destino plausible. Los rossoneri, como añade La Gazzetta dello Sport, no pueden asumir la ficha de Rashford en su totalidad. No obstante, si el United lo cede aportando una parte de su sueldo, la vía se podría abrir. El Milan podría abonar algo más de 5 millones para disponer de Rashford durante seis meses, siendo el United responsable del resto de su salario.
De concretarse este escenario, Rashford se convertiría en una de las fichas más costosas para el Milan, incluso como cedido. Aun así, su nombre tienta a la directiva rossonera. El propio Zlatan Ibrahimovic ya coincidió con él en la primera plantilla del Manchester United. Y Rashford podría encontrar en la Serie A una alternativa para buscar su mejor nivel. A sus 27 años, el internacional británico afronta por primera vez la posibilidad de marcharse de Old Trafford.
