Dinamarca y Inglaterra cierran la segunda jornada del grupo C de esta Eurocopa, con sensaciones distantes pero con el mismo objetivo ganar.

El Dinamarca – Inglaterra de la segunda jornada de la fase de grupos de la Eurocopa 2024 se podrá disfrutar en directo en televisión a través de La 1 y RTVE Play.

 

Dinamarca, herida tras su derrota en el debut, busca resurgir de sus cenizas como un ave fénix ante la poderosa Inglaterra. Los leones quieren rugir con fuerza y dejar atrás las malas sensaciones de su debut en la Eurocopa 2024, ya que ganaron pero no convencieron.

 

El Deutsche Bank Park de Frankfurt será el escenario de esta batalla entre daneses e ingleses. La posesión y el juego asociativo de la dinamita danesa dirigidos por Christian Eriksen se enfrentarán al poderío físico y talento de los tres leones ingleses dirigidos por Jude Bellingham.

 

 

Cómo llega Inglaterra

 

Inglaterra decepcionó en su primer partido y Southgate podría hacer cambios. Algunos jugadores, como Foden, no dieron el nivel esperado. Inglaterra juega contra su historia, ya que los Tres Leones nunca han ganado sus dos primeros partidos en una Eurocopa.

 

La clave: Un mejor juego y la recuperación de sus estrellas. Southgate necesita que sus jugadores clave den un paso adelante y sean más constantes en la presión y en llevar la iniciativa en los partidos. Inglaterra solo tuvo 12 toques en el área de Serbia en su victoria por 1-0, su total más bajo de toques en el área rival en un partido de la Eurocopa desde 2012 contra Ucrania (también 12). Southgate tiene trabajo que hacer uniendo todas las piezas.

 

Cómo llega Dinamarca

 

 

Tras el empate contra Eslovenia, Dinamarca se encuentra en una situación delicada. La euforia del gol de Eriksen se ha visto empañada por la necesidad de sumar puntos contra Inglaterra para no llegar a la última jornada con la soga al cuello.

Un empate ante los ingleses dejaría todo por decidir en la última jornada contra Serbia. Los daneses necesitan ganar o al menos empatar contra Inglaterra para tener opciones reales de clasificarse a octavos.

 

Hjulmand no tiene bajas y podría repetir el once inicial. El técnico danés confía en el mismo grupo que empató contra Eslovenia para sacar un buen resultado ante Inglaterra.

 

La clave: La concentración y la eficacia. Dinamarca deberá estar concentrada durante todo el partido y aprovechar al máximo sus ocasiones para tener opciones de ganar.

 

Christian Eriksen marcó su primer gol en la Eurocopa en el empate 1-1 contra Eslovenia. Con 32 años y 123 días, se convirtió en el danés de mayor edad en marcar en la Eurocopa y en un torneo importante desde Jon Dahl Tomasson, de 33 años, en el Mundial de 2010.

Los Tres Leones han jugado contra Dinamarca en 22 ocasiones, registrando 13 victorias, cinco empates y cuatro derrotas.

I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said «You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.» She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
