El Levante sufre una de las míticas remontadas del Real Madrid en escasos minutos, resultado que hace peligrar el tercer puesto de la Liga F
La primavera azota Valencia con mañanas espectaculares como la que han disfrutado los aficionados este sábado. Con ella, llega el tramo y los partidos más decisivos de la temporada. De este calibre era el encuentro vivido en la Ciudad Deportiva de Buñol, donde el club valenciano tuvo que colgar el cartel de ‘Sold Out‘. El Levante, tras sus encuentros en el Ciutat de València y Mestalla, volvía a Buñol para recibir al Real Madrid en la que sería la jornada 24 de la Liga F.
Las merengues llegan a Valencia como las segundas en la clasificación. Se encuentran a 12 puntos del FC Barcelona, líderes en la clasificación. Sus seguidoras más cercanas son las ‘granotas’, las cuales se ubican en la tercera posición, y las distancian un total de 11 puntos. A falta de siete partidos, la primera y la segunda posición parecen sentenciadas, pero la pelea por el tercer puesto está más viva que nunca.
Tanto las ‘granotas’ como el Real Madrid se hayan en puestos de Champions League, pero el Levante tiene seguidores cercanos como lo son el Madrid CFF, Atlético de Madrid y Athletic Club. La diferencia entre los cuatro clubes es de tres puntos, por lo que hasta final de la temporada, cada partido y cada punto será crucial.
Ya son conocidos los futuros recortes salariales por parte del Levante para sanear la economía del club. El conjunto femenino se verá afectado por estos recortes, tal y como informó el club. En medio de muchas especulaciones, y según apuntan algunos medios, tanto María Méndez como Alba Redondo pueden haber jugado ante su próximo equipo, el Real Madrid.
Primera parte
Con el sol en lo alto del cielo, Planes Terol hacía sonar su silbato indicando el inicio del encuentro. En el primer minuto, una jugada por la banda de Érika, iniciada desde Tarazona, y finalizada con un gran centro sin rematadora, levantaba el primer ‘uy’ en la grada. La intensidad de las ‘granotas’ era notablemente superior a las de la capital.
Tras varios intentos de centro del Levante, en el minuto 4′, un gran balón puesto por Silvia Lloris desde la banda izquierda encontraba la cabeza de Gabi Nunes, quien colocaba un balón imposible para Misa. Unos minutos más tarde, el primer intento del Real Madrid por parte de Moller, era frustrado por María Méndez en la frontal del área.
En el minuto 11′, una cabalgada de Athenea por banda derecha acababa en un centro a los pies de Feller, quien a puerta vacía falló el que era el empate para el Real Madrid. Las blancas comenzaban a sentirse cómodas con la posesión de balón. Zornoza encontraba con un balón largo la diagonal tirada por Olga Carmona, quien delante de Tarazona perdonó el 1-1.
La comodidad de las blancas se traducía en ocasiones. En la misma jugada, el Real Madrid tuvo el empate en sus botas. Primero, un remate de Olga Carmona se encuentra con María Méndez bajo palos. Tras el rebote, el balón acaba en los pies de Athenea en el área pequeña, pero su disparo era detenido por Tarazona. El empate parecía más cerca que nunca.
Un pase atrás de Rocío desde medio del campo para Misa, casi se cuela en su propia portería para hacer el 2-0. Las ocasiones comenzaban a sucederse. Tras una posible falta de Ivana, Feller disponía de un mano a mano que fue frustrado por la velocidad de Silvia Lloris. El Levante se veía afectado con los balones a las espaldas que mandaban las centrales blancas.
María Méndez se envalentonaba y salía en conducción hasta el área rival, donde el disparo alto de Érika fue detenido por Misa. Dentro del campo se libraba una batalla entre Ivana y Gabi Nunes. Tras varios encontronazos, en el minuto 39′ la capitana blanca era amonestada por una falta a la brasileña. Tras los cuatro minutos de añadido, el partido se marchaba al descanso con la ventaja del Levante en el marcador.
Segunda parte
La sorpresa saltaba antes de comenzar el segundo tiempo. Al parecer, Alba Redondo era sustituida por una posible lesión. En su lugar entraba Estela. Ambos conjuntos salían con la misma intensidad con la que terminaba la primera parte. Teresa colocaba un córner que se envenenaba hacia portería, pero Tarazona estaba atenta. Los primeros compases del segundo tiempo estaban marcados por posesiones largas que no encontraban ocasiones de gol.
El Real Madrid era el protagonista en los ataques. Las internadas de Olga Carmona desde banda izquierda se topaban con Antonia y con María Méndez, ambas muy atentas en cada jugada. Una jugada de pases rápidos dentro del área del Levante, terminaba con un centro raso rematado por Zornoza hasta la red, colocando el empate en el marcador.
Tras el empate, Alberto Toril realizaba tres cambios en una misma ventana, en busca de la remontada. El efecto de los cambios no tardó en llegar. Linda Caicedo, la jovencísima colombiana del Real Madrid, anotaba un golazo por la escuadra de Tarazona desde la frontal del área.
José Luis Vera sorprendía quitando a Estela del campo, quien había entrado en el descanso. En su lugar, saltaba Leyre al campo. El Levante buscaba de forma desesperada el empate en el marcador. En un córner a favor de las ‘granota’, una mano clara dentro del área no era pitada por Planes Terol, y los aficionados levantinistas mostraban su enfado.
Tras la polémica jugada en el área de las blancas, el Real Madrid montaba una contra liderada por Linda Carrillo, quien finalmente anotaba el 1-3 en un remate cruzado. No habían pasado ni dos minutos cuando Maite Oroz se encontraba un rechace dentro del área para colocar el 1-4. En escasos 25′ minutos, el Real Madrid le dio la vuelta al marcador con cuatro tantos.
En los minutos finales, con el Levante volcado para encontrar un empate imposible, Leire Baños anotaba el gol de la mañana. Tras una buena jugada de pases interiores, la mediocentro ‘granota’ colocaba el balón en la escuadra derecha de Misa. A pesar de los intentos de las levantinistas, el encuentro llegaba a su final con el 2-4 en el marcador.
