Valencia y Osasuna se enfrentaban hoy en un partido correspondiente a la jornada 26 de LaLiga EA Sports en Mestalla. Dos conjuntos que llegaban a este encuentro con dos rachas totalmente opuestas. Un Valencia de Corberan con 3 puntos de los últimos 15 posibles, por otro lado, un Osasuna de Alessio Lisci con 14 puntos de los últimos 20 posibles y seis jornadas consecutivas sin perder.

Primera parte

La primera mitad comenzaba con un Valencia intentando imponer su condición de local en los compases iniciales, presionando alto y buscando transiciones rápidas por dentro y por fuera aunque sin generar peligro real. Algún disparo aislado de Sadiq o Ugrinic desde fuera del área.

Poco a poco Osasuna iba ganando terreno con el paso de los minutos, equilibrando la posesión y mostrando solidez defensiva; los rojillos se iban estirando algo más a partir del cuarto de hora, forzando jugadas de peligro al espacio con Raúl Moro y Víctor Muñoz  en algunas jugadas aisladas.

Tras 45 minutos y 2 minutos de añadido el colegiado del encuentro pitaba el descanso con 0-0 en el marcador.

Segunda parte

Tras el paso por vestuarios, el Valencia salia con más determinación. En el minuto 63, Sadiq protagonizó una acción clave: recibía  un pase al espacio, encaró a Sergio Herrera y fue derribado dentro del área en un claro penalti. El colegiado no dudaba en señalar la pena máxima.

Largue Ramazani se hacia cargo de la pena máxima. En su primer intento, el belga marcaba con un disparo colocado y engañando al portero navarro, pero la celebración duró poco: el árbitro anulaba el gol por invasión temprana de José Gayà en el área. En la repetición (minuto 66-67), Ramazani mantuvo la sangre fría, repitió estilo y colocó el balón en la misma dirección para batir a Herrera.

A partir de ahí, el partido se volvió de ida y vuelta. Osasuna intentó reaccionar con más llegada en los minutos finales (remate fallado de Moi Gómez en el descuento, por ejemplo), pero la defensa che, liderada por un buen trabajo colectivo, aguantó los envites. Los locales también pudieron sentenciar en alguna contra, aunque no lograron el segundo.
