Tras encadenar su segunda victoria consecutiva el pasado míercoles en Copa del Rey frente al Talavera, el Real Madrid cierra el año en el Bérnabeu, delante de un Sevilla que viene de caer eliminado de Copa, frente al Alavés en Mendizorroza. Una vez más, Xabi Alonso estará en el foco y es que a pesar de ese par de victorias recientes, el tolosarra sigue en entredicho por la pobre imagen del equipo. Todo parece indicar que está situación es muy díficil que cambie a corto plazo y los blancos son examinados día a día.
