El técnico del Getafe, José Bordalás, compareció en rueda de prensa, previa al encuentro contra el Levante, correspondiente a la jornada 7 de LaLiga
Tras un mal partido en casa ante el Alavés, donde fueron dominados, los azulones tratarán de hacer bueno el último punto, con una victoria ante una de las revelaciones de LaLiga, el Levante. Los de Bordalás tratarán de mejorar en todos los aspectos, especialmente en ataque, donde no consiguieron generar casi nada pero tuvieron la fortuna de que Mauro Arambarri, les puso por delante con un gol inesperado por el momento del partido del Getafe. Esta jornada, tendrán en frente a toda una amenza como Etta Yong, contra la que toda la zaga deberá mejorar sus áctuaciones si no quieren sufrir al «Piccolo» de LaLiga.
¿Qué análisis táctico hace de los últimos partidos?
«Al final son situaciones que se dan en diferentes partidos, durante la temporada hemos utilizado varios dibujos pero eso no es lo más importante. Vamos a ver quién juega arriba, como sabéis todos estamos muy condicionados de efectivos en ataque. Volvemos a jugar en casa contra un rival que compite muy bien, todos somos conscientes de que en el Coliseum tenemos que sacar el mayor número de puntos posibles.»
¿Está cansado el equipo?
«Está claro que no es lo que desearíamos, ya lo comentó David Soria en nombre de todos nosotros. No es una excusa, es una evidencia. Vamos a tener que competir sin pasar las 72 horas después del esfuerzo tan grande del miércoles.»
Ha hablado muy bien Calero de usted, ¿cómo lo valora?
«Siempre se agradece, yo valoro el trabajo de todos los entrenadores sin excepción, Calero es un hombre que viene trabajando bien, sabe lo que cuesta ascender y entrenar en Primera División. Le deseo lo mejor como entrenador, los entrenadores tenemos que tenernos respeto, es una profesión muy compleja y se agradecen las buenas palabras.»
«Son jugadores muy buenos, se han adaptado rápidamente a la Primera División y a pesar de ser un recién ascendido va a ser un partido muy competido.»
¿Qué quería decir con sus palabras sobre Mayoral?
«Queda muy claro lo que comenté, él lo sabe, los compañeros lo sabemos. Todos sabemos que es muy importante, el club en su momento hizo un gran esfuerzo y tiene que conseguir su mejor nivel.»
¿Cómo de importante es tener un día menos de descanso?
«Ahora las excusas no sirven, es momento de trabajar, pero es evidente que afecta mucho. Los jugadores llegan cansados, juegan tres partidos en seis días y se nota que necesitan descanso. No se han cumplido las 72 horas pero no nos queda otra que trabajar y competir mañana.»
Si mañana el Getafe gana, ¿se haría bueno el punto conseguido ante el Alavés?
«Es lo que deseamos, por supuesto que sí. Hay que jugar, hay que competir, sabemos que es un equipo que entra muy bien a los partidos y necesitamos nuestra mejor versión para lograrlo. Nos gusta a todos jugar en casa, jugar de local, a pesar de las incomodidades por la obra. Seguro que a pesar de ello los que vengan mañana nos apoyarán.»
