Agirrezabala: 8. Buen partido del portero del Valencia. Muy seguro durante todo el partido y sacando alguna mano de gran mérito. Poco pudo hacer en ambos goles del Espanyol.
Foulquier: 7. Partido sólido. Muy bien defensivamente durante todo el partido y con balón estuvo acertado en la mayoría de ocasiones.
Tárrega: 8.5. Es una roca. En el final de la primera parte salvó al Valencia bajo los palos. Además, estuvo todo el partido muy concentrado y tuvo a Kike Muy controlado.
Diakhaby: 9. Excelente en todas las facetas del juego. Muy rápido y sólido para cortar los ataques del Espanyol. Para mí el mejor del Valencia en el partido.
Gayà: 6.5. Partido decente del capitán, pero el Espanyol entró muchas veces por su zona. Acabó acalambrado y tuvo que entrar Jesús Vázquez en su lugar.
Pepelu: 5. Mal partido para el centrocampista tras tener la oportunidad contra el Espanyol. Paso desapercibido y fue cambiado por Ugrinic.
Santamaria: 4.5. No es que hiciera un mal partido del todo, pero sale en la foto de los 2 goles del Espanyol. En el primero Cabrera es su marca y en el segundo comete la falta en una jugada sin peligro.
Diego López: 4. Completamente inexistente. Mal partido del ’16’ valencianista que no aporto prácticamente nada durante el tiempo que estuvo en el campo. Fue sustituido por Lucas Beltrán.
Luis Rioja: 7. Buen partido del ex del Alavés. Dio la asistencia a Danjuma para el 0-1 y ayudó mucho defensivamente. Tuvo alguna arrancada más, pero tampoco generó mucho.
Danjuma: 7.5. Gran inicio del holandés que parece que está cuajando en Valencia. Muy insistente cada vez que tenía el balón, aunque pecó alguna vez de no soltarla. Si sigue así dará muchas alegrías al Valencia como este gol.
Hugo Duro: 6. Partido flojo del delantero pese a marcar el 1-2. Como siempre estuvo muy atento a la hora de trabajar sin balón, pero se mostró errático con él.
Sustituciones:
Lucas Beltrán: 5. No pudo aportar ofensivamente, aunque tuvo uno para pegarle en la frontal en la que se emborrachó de balón.
Ugrinic: 6. Puso un gran córner para el gol de Hugo Duro. Pese a ello, el suizo, que tiene cosas que ofrecer, tiene que empezar a ser más protagonista cuando sale.
Thierry Correia: 5.5 Salió para apoyar defensivamente a Foulquier y no tuvo ninguna oportunidad de correr al contraataque.
