Llegó el día que todos esperábamos con ansia. Llegó el día en el que arranca la temporada 2025/2026 de LaLiga Hypermotion, y lo hace, nada más ni nada menos, con un derbi castellano y leonés. El Burgos CF y la recién ascendida CyD Leonesa, serán los encargados de abrir esta nueva temporada hoy, en El Plantío a las 21:30. Este derbi, es de esa clase de partidos que cuando sale en el sorteo, ambas aficiones lo marcan en el calendario. Se espera un gran despliegue policial esta noche, al ser declarado partido de alto riesgo.
Burgos CF
Los burgaleses se estrenan en su casa, su estadio estará a rebosar para animar a su equipo para la consecución de los primeros tres puntos de la temporada. Los de Luis Miguel Ramis, llegan en un perfecto estado de forma, al plasmar una pretemporada invicta y, salvo sorpresas, con la plantilla cerrada después de atar los fichajes de Víctor Mollejo y de Mario González. Sumando estas altas, buscarán ver portería esta noche, algo que no pudieron hacer en pretemporada ante el mismo rival.
CyD Leonesa
Los recién ascendidos a la categoría de plata, no lo tienen fácil para conseguir sus primeros tres puntos después de 8 años sin pisar la Segunda División. La pretemporada cazurra, ha sido un tanto decepcionante al no sumar ninguna victoria en cinco partidos. A diferencia de su rival, la Cultural Leonesa no tiene cerrada su plantilla. El poco poder financiero, digno de un recién ascendido de la Primera Federación, ha complicado la incorporación de jugadores a la entidad culturalista. Llona, admitió en rueda de prensa que faltaban 6 o 7 fichajes para poder cerrar la plantilla. Los leonenes, intentarán dar una alegría a una provincia devastada por los incendios que han ocurrido.
El primer derbi de la temporada estará arbitrado por Ojaos Valera y en el VAR estará González Francés.
