La victoria de los locales los saca del descenso y deja al Atlético a 10 puntos del líder

El Atlético de Madrid cayó 1-0 anoche en el estadio de Gran Canaria tras un partido donde hubieron muchas idas y venidas por parte de ambos conjuntos.

El choque comenzó un poco parado, sin mucho peligro y con las ocasiones repartidas. La posesión se desvió hacia el lado colchonero, que acabó los 90 minutos con un 59% de la posesión del balón. 

Sin embargo, el conjunto local se adueñó de los tiros, llegando a la portería de Jan Oblak un total de 8 veces, aunque, solamente 2 de ellos fueron entre los 3 palos del portero esloveno.

Se necesitaban cambios

La segunda mitad del partido empezó accidentada, con una tarjeta amarilla a los 54 minutos para el lateral rojiblanco Javi Galán. No mucho después empezarían los cambios del Cholo Simeone, sustituyendo a Koke y al inglés Connor Gallagher para darle entrada a Rodrigo de Paul y el canterano madrileño Rodrigo Riquelme.

Desde esos cambios fue un no parar por parte de los 2 equipos, porque en los siguientes 15 minutos, entraron Marvin Park y Sandro por parte local y Azpilicueta y el recién renovado Griezmann por parte visitante.

Los últimos 20 minutos en Gran Canaria fueron los detonantes del resultado favorable para los isleños, que aunque recibieron 3 amarillas y sufrieron la lesión de su jugador Fábio Silva, dominaron el juego y fueron dueños de las ocasiones, llegando con facilidad a portería y creyendo en la victoria frente a su afición.

El gol canario, que en un principió sería anulado por el árbitro del partido, García Verdura, llegó en el minuto 93 gracias a un remate de Javi Muñoz, en el que nada pudo hacer Oblak.

Con esta victoria, la UD Las Palmas se coloca 17º en la tabla clasificatoria y el elenco capitalino 3º con 63 puntos.
