Los ‘Tricky Trees’ se llevan la victoria por la mínima en un partido donde Anthony Elanga fue la gran figura al marcar contra su exequipo. Con este triunfo, el equipo de Nuno se consolida en la tercera posición y se queda muy cerca de asegurar su clasificación a competiciones europeas.

El Manchester United suma su decimotercera derrota de la temporada tras caer en el City Ground. Los de Rubén Amorim no encontraron la manera de superar a un Nottingham Forest que supo administrar la ventaja obtenida en la primera jugada del partido. Elanga brilló con una actuación sobresaliente y fue clave para su equipo. Con este resultado, los locales quedan a un paso de asegurar su presencia en la próxima edición de la Liga de Campeones.

Elanga ‘aupa’ al Forest

El partido comenzó de la mejor manera para el Nottingham Forest. El segundo tiempo comenzó con un ritmo frenético. Ambos equipos intercambiaron ocasiones en un ida y vuelta constante. Rubén Amorim realizó un cambio tras el descanso: Manuel Ugarte dejó su lugar a Rasmus Højlund, en busca de mayor presencia ofensiva. Con el paso de los minutos, el United perdió el control del juego y el Forest empezó a mover el balón con peligro en el área de Onana.
