El equipo gallego viaja a la capital con la intención hacer sangre a unos merengues heridos tras la humillación en la Supercopa de España. El Celta llega con muchas bajas y el Madrid con un viaje largo y una derrota importante encima por lo que el batacazo es plausible.

El jueves a las 21:30 el Real Madrid saltará al campo cuatro días después de la derrota 2-5 contra el Barcelona. Por su parte los de Giráldez llegan tras una dura derrota en Vallecas donde se fueron con las manos vacías y con la materia pendiente de ser el mismo equipo en fuera de casa que el equipo que juega en Balaídos. Una vez más el Celta se desplaza y aunque en Copa se ha ido con victoria en cada plaza que visitó, este partido no es contra un rival de divisiones inferiores, sino uno de los punteros de la primera división.

En el Bernabéu el Madrid se hace fuerte y aún más cuando viene herido de orgullo y necesita lavar la imagen de la goleada en el clásico en Arabia. Claudio Giráldez tiene un gran reto por delante para dar un paso más en el camino de saldar la «la deuda» del equipo olívico. Avanzar a Cuartos de Final eliminando al Real Madrid no solo sería un golpe sobre la mesa sino una declaración de intenciones de que este año el equipo apuesta fuertemente por la copa.

 

¿Cómo llega el Celta?

Los gallegos a pesar de la derrota en la liga son optimistas con el desplazamiento, además la afición celeste agotó las entradas disponibles para los visitantes en el Bernabéu por lo que es un plus en los ánimos del plantel. La aparición de Aspas y de Alfon, este último autor de un doblete en la ronda anterior, están descartadas. Por su parte hay un sector que confía en ver a Marcos Alonso en el campo, incluso depués de haber sufrido un esguince en el tobillo derecho en Vallecas. Según informan, el jugador estaría dispuesto a forzar su presencia para alinearse en el once copero. Otra de las ilusiones es poder ver a Fer López, otra víctima del esguince de tobillo.

A pesar de las bajas, Ristic recibió el alta médica y viajará al Bernabéu con la expedición celeste. Además se estrena en la lista El-Abdellaoui, reciente fichaje del equipo gallego. Sorpresiva es la ausencia de Douvikas que por decisión propia no va convocado, forzando lo que parece una salida inminente en este mercado de invierno. Claudio debe armar un once competitivo con las armas a disposición para dar guerra a un equipo que no necesita presentación como lo es el Real Madrid.

¿Cómo llega el Real Madrid?

Los merengues llegan heridos de Arabia, otro clásico perdido y por goleada significa otra mancha en la temporada. Aunque se mantienen peleando la punta de la liga, algunas derrotas y un rendimiento futbolístico por debajo de lo esperado termina presionando al equipo y al mismo Carlo Ancelotti. En eso debe trabajar Ancelotti que se ha mantenido firme en alinear al francés como central y no ha logrado adaptarse a la posición, teniendo en el banco a, por ejemplo, Raúl Asencio. Por su parte Lucas es el punto más débil de la defensa merengue, su espalda es el objetivo de cada equipo que enfrentan y normalmente siempre pierde la partida, además esa fragilidad defensiva exige un esfuerzo doble de jugadores como Valverde que tiene que apoyar constantemente esa zona a la hora de defender.
