El Fulham venció al Chelsea en Stamford Bridge, después de más de 60 años y se acerca a puestos europeos. Los cottagers remontaron el tanto de Palmer en la segunda parte con goles de Wilson y Muniz.

El Fulham es uno de los equipos de moda de la Premier League. La primera gran ocasión de la segunda parte llevaría el nombre de Enzo Fernández. Tras una jugada combinativa, el argentino la mandó directa a la escuadra obligando a Bernd Leno a emplearse a fondo. Instantes más tarde, el árbitro anuló un gol de Levi Colwill de cabeza, tras un fuera de juego posicional. El Chelsea tenía ganas de aumentar la ventaja en el marcador, pero el Fulham dio un paso adelante en el momento más oportuno.

Primero, Alex Iwobi dio un toque de atención a los de Enzo Maresca con un remate que se marchó muy cerca de la portería. Más tarde, Antonee Robinson fallaría otra ocasión frente a Robert Sánchez, después de un control con la pierna derecha que se le fue largo.
