Los de Baraja han vuelto a sumar después de tres derrotas consecutivas, pero en un duelo directo por la permanencia el punto obtenido es insuficiente y el Valencia sigue colista de LaLiga EA Sports. Las sensaciones han sido mucho mejores que en los anteriores encuentros, pero dos fueras de juego por escasos centímetros han privado al equipo che de marcar el segundo tanto en dos ocasiones. Aun así, en defensa no ha estado bien el equipo y ha sufrido con poco.
Titulares
Stole Dimitrievski (6,5). El portero macedonio ha tenido que actuar tras la lesión de Mamardashvili y ha estado seguro bajo palos. No es fácil sustituir al georgiano, pero ha salvado un mano a mano clave contra Puado. Lo más destacado ha sido la velocidad para salir del área ante los balones a la espalda de la defensa que ha propuesto el Espanyol.
Dimitri Foulquier (6). En defensa ha estado sólido, pero en ataque no es capaz de aportar demasiado. La salida de balón por su lado es nula. Lo habitual en el de Guadalupe.
César Tárrega (5,5). Mejor que Mosquera durante los minutos que ha estado en el terreno de juego, pero la pareja de centrales sigue sin dar seguridad. El Espanyol durante la primera mitad ha generado mucho peligro sin proponer demasiado.
Cristhian Mosquera (5). Muy lejos del nivel de la temporada pasada. Puado en el gol remata completamente solo entre los dos centrales. Cuando ha pasado al perfil derecho tras la entrada de Yarek el equipo ha mejorado en salida de balón.
Luis Rioja (6,5). Baraja lo ha situado como parche en el lateral izquierdo debido a la lesión de Gayà y al bajo nivel de Jesús Vázquez. En defensa ha sufrido mucho como es evidente, especialmente durante la primera parte. En ataque ha sido capaz de aportar y de dar dos pases clave, aún jugando en una posición más retrasada.
Fran Pérez (6,5). Lo ha intentado y le ha proporcionado un poco de electricidad a la banda derecha. También le ha servido un pase de gol a Dani Gómez, pero el madrileño no ha sido capaz de marcar.
Pepelu (6). El centro del campo junto a Barrenechea, y con Almeida por delante ha mejorado un poco la circulación de balón del Valencia.
Enzo Barrenechea (7). Ha dado la asistencia y tres pases clave. Buen partido del argentino.
Diego López (8). El mayor peligro del Valencia ha llegado gracias al extremo asturiano. Ha marcado el gol, ha mandado al larguero otro remate y le han anulado el 1-2 por posición antirreglamentaria. El mejor del conjunto valencianista.
André Almeida (6). Baraja ha vuelto a apostar por la figura del mediapunta y ha incluido al de Guimaraes en el once titular tras más de dos meses sin hacerlo. La posesión de balón ha sido más fluida, pero no ha dejado nada especial.
Dani Gómez (6). Lo ha dejado todo, pero su nivel es justo. Muy fallón en el remate. En el descuento de la segunda parte ha conseguido arrebatarle el balón al portero espanyolista y marcar gol, aunque en fuera de juego por pocos centímetros.
Suplentes
Yarek Gasiorowski (5). En la segunda parte el Espanyol ha generado menos ocasiones, pero Yarek no ha estado demasiado acertado durante los minutos que ha disputado. Pese a sus 1.92 metros de altura, el central ha perdido la mayoría de los duelos aéreos.
Javi Guerra (6,5). Ha tomado el mando del equipo cuando ha ingresado al campo por Pepelu. Ha dejado algunos destellos como un buen pase de gol a Dani Gómez, que no ha podido rematar a portería.
Sergi Canós Tenés (6). No ha aportado demasiado más allá de un buen remate desde fuera del área que se ha marchado por poco.
Iker Córdoba (NC). Debut en liga entrando en el minuto 85. Nada rescatable. Con la sustitución, Rioja ha pasado a jugar en su posición más habitual.
Hugo Guillamón (NC). También ingresó en el minuto 85. Lo único reseñable es un disparo que no ha conseguido blocar Joan García y que ha terminado en el gol anulado a Dani Gómez.
