El entrenador del Como confirmó en la rueda de prensa que el centrocampista inglés entrenará con su equipo después de navidades para ayudarle a volver a ponerse en forma.

Regalo de Navidad para Dele Alli. Cesc Fábregas ha declarado que el exjugador del Everton se pondrá a sus órdenes, después de las festividades navideñas, para ayudarle en su recuperación y a que se vuelva a poner en forma, así lo confirmó después de la victoria del Como ante la Roma. «Quizás exista la posibilidad de que Dele comience a entrenar con nosotros después de Navidad. Sería para ayudarle a ponerse en forma y nada más, por el momento», declaró el técnico español tras ser preguntado por la presencia del jugador en la grada.

Dele Alli lleva sin disputar un partido oficial desde el 26 de febrero de 2023 cuando lo hiciera con el Besiktas. El jugador ha encadenado una serie de problemas físicos que le han hecho estar en el dique seco durante todo este tiempo y que le hicieron al Everton rescindir su contrato. Hasta ahora el jugador estaba entrenando en Finch Farm, ciudad deportiva de los Toffees, pero una nueva lesión le hizo parar, tal y como confirmó Sean Dyche en rueda de prensa.

El inglés, que en su día tuvo un valor de cien millones de euros, era considerado una de las mayores promesas del fútbol mundial. Su buen rendimiento a las órdenes de Mauricio Pochettino ayudó al Tottenham para que se clasificara a la primera final de la Champions League cuando cayeran ante el Liverpool. A partir de ese momento, sus problemas con las lesiones comenzaron a hacerse más notables y se marchó al Everton donde no consiguió recuperar su nivel, ni en su cesión al Besiktas el año siguiente.

Tras las navidades comenzará un nuevo capítulo en la vida de Dele Alli en tierras italianas. El Como de Fábregas, uno de los equipos más carismáticos de la Serie A, que cuenta con nombres como los de Nico Paz, Sergi Roberto o Pepe Reina será el centro de entrenamiento del inglés «de momento».
