O incluso más que solventemente, como se pudo observar en el enfrentamiento frente al CD Mirandés, un equipo que llegaba a tierras cantábricas con tan solo tres goles encajados en diez partidos, y se llevó cuatro para el camino de vuelta.
El equipo asturiano ha optado con un sistema basado en el poderío local y la supervivencia como visitante, ya que en esta condición solo ha sido capaz de sumar de tres en Riazor. A pesar de esto, el equipo mantiene intacto su espíritu guerrero, puntuando en seis de los ocho partidos fuera de su estadio. Esta ha sido una de las claves de un cuadro que solamente ha caído derrotado una vez en los últimos once encuentros ligueros, y gracias a ello se mantiene en lo alto de la clasificación.
