Tanto Levante como Valencia han trabajado de forma incansable para ayudar a los afectados por la DANA
Levante y Valencia han vuelto a los entrenamientos esta semana. Tras unos días que se han hecho extremadamente largos, los equipos de la capital del Túria ya intentan volver a la ‘normalidad’. No obstante, en estos tiempos tan complicados para los valencianos, ni mucho menos han pasado desapercibidos.
Es más, su papel en las labores de ayuda ha sido fascinante. Estos dos clubes han vuelto a demostrar que, en momentos de este calibre, pueden estar a la altura. Tristemente, la ciudad de Valencia ya vivió una tragedia hace unos meses con el incendio en Campanar. Luego de aplazar sus respectivos compromisos, no tardaron en ofrecer sus servicios a los afectados con el fin de apoyarles.
No solo se pusieron a su disposición, sino que además les brindaron un homenaje digno de aplaudir. Con la situación actual, donde el número de damnificados es mucho mayor, se esperan tributos que ejemplifiquen la enorme empatía de ambas entidades.
Clubes referencia en la DANA
Una cosa está clara. Han sido muchos los equipos que han aportado su grano de arena en esta tragedia. Real Madrid, Villarreal o, incluso algunos clubes fuera de España, no han perdido tiempo en ayudar. De hecho, la entidad madridista ha llegado a donar hasta 1 millón de euros.
Respecto a Levante y Valencia, han vuelto a ser el ejemplo a seguir. Mestalla y el Ciutat de Valencia se convirtieron en centros de recogida de elementos de primera necesidad. Allí han llegado miles de prendas de ropa, alimentos, u objetos de higiene como mascarillas o guantes. Es más, en estos puntos también se ha podido donar sangre para los más necesitados.
También han brindado otra serie de servicios relacionados con sus futuros partidos. En el caso del conjunto granota, ha creado una iniciativa pocas veces vista anteriormente. Y es que proporcionará diversos autobuses para aquellos aficionados que, con motivo del destrozo de carreteras y trenes, no pueden llegar a Orriols. La entidad che no se queda atrás, y en la tarde de ayer guardó un respetuoso minuto de silencio de más de 300 jugadores. A su vez, tanto valencianistas como granotas han acudido a sus respectivos estadios para ayudar. Desde Diego López, Cuafriez o Pepelu, hasta Carlos Álvarez, Morales o Iborra, que al salir del feudo levantinista puso rumbo a Paiporta con su familia.

Entre tanta desgracia, el jugador valencianista Rubén Iranzo salió damnificado. El defensa, que a partir del parón formará parte de la dinámica del primer equipo, vivió en sus carnes la DANA. Perdió su casa en Picanya, donde muchas de sus camisetas del Valencia se han visto repletas de barro pero, por suerte, no ha tenido que lamentar ningún daño personal.
Sus compañeros no dudaron en ayudar a Rubo. Juntos le ayudaron a limpiar su hogar y le arroparon en este momento tan complicado. Pues mientras achicaba agua y barro, también se entrenaba en la Ciudad Deportiva de Paterna, y terminó lesionándose por el esfuerzo físico y mental que eso conlleva.
