El entrenador del Milan ha ensalzado el nivel del fútbol italiano a cuenta de la victoria de los rossoneri en el campo del Real Madrid.

El Milan saborea un triunfo tan relevante como inesperado. La escuadra rossonera había dejado sensaciones contrastadas en el 0-1 ante el Monza el pasado fin de semana. En Italia se esperaba que el Real Madrid, aun sin pasar por su mejor momento, dominase al equipo entrenado por Paulo Fonseca. Pero nada más lejos de la realidad. El técnico luso le ganó la partida a Carlo Ancelotti, y el Milan se impuso en el Santiago Bernabéu por 1-3

Fonseca trazó un planteamiento que logró anular las mejores armas del Real Madrid. La cobertura de Musah a Vinicius dio sus frutos, y la ayuda de Morata en fase defensiva se reveló vital. El entrenador ha mostrado su satisfacción por la fidelidad a sus ideas incluso en un escenario como el Bernábeu. «Hemos ganado porque los jugadores han tenido el valor de llegar aquí y no tener miedo de nada. Hicimos nuestro juego, preparamos el partido para mantener el balón», ha declarado.

El entrenador del Milan no ha tenido problema en comparar al Real Madrid con sus rivales en la liga. Fonseca ha subrayado las diferencias a nivel táctico de un país a otro. «La gente no entiende lo difícil que es jugar contra equipos italianos. El Monza juega con marcaje al hombre en todo el campo, el Cagliari hará lo mismo. Esos partidos son más difíciles para nosotros que contra el Real Madrid. Es difícil hacer buenos partidos contra equipos que marcan al hombre como en Italia», ha admitido Fonseca.

Asimismo, Fonseca ha rechazado las etiquetas que tachan al calcio de un fútbol a la defensiva.«En Europa podemos ser un equipo aún más dominante. Posicionalmente lo hicimos muy bien, y demostramos que somos un equipo italiano que no es defensivo. Podemos crecer mucho a nivel de mentalidad», ha apuntado.

  808. Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said «You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.» She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
