Franco Colapinto, joven piloto argentino, ha manifestado su entusiasmo ante su segunda participación en un Gran Premio de Fórmula 1 con el equipo Williams, esta vez en Bakú.

Aunque cuenta con poca experiencia en el circuito urbano de la capital de Azerbaiyán, Colapinto se muestra optimista y confiado en sus posibilidades para la carrera.

«Tenemos un buen coche para poder puntuar. Estoy preparándome duro y trabajando para estar listo. Tenemos un buen coche para poder puntuar e intentar hacerlo lo mejor posible».

Bakú y sus dificultades

El trazado de Bakú, con sus desafiantes secciones urbanas, representa una nueva experiencia para Colapinto, quien admitió que todavía tiene mucho que aprender del circuito. Sin embargo, confía en el trabajo realizado junto a su equipo y en el simulador para adaptarse rápidamente. Recordando su debut en Monza, Colapinto compartió que la experiencia fue extremadamente enriquecedora, pero también desafiante.

«No he estado en muchos circuitos urbanos, pero espero haber aprendido lo suficiente en el simulador, he trabajado muy duro con el equipo como para haber hecho lo suficiente para tener un ritmo rápido. Aprendí tantas cosas… pero sinceramente, encaramos la carrera con muchos interrogantes. No había dado más de ocho vueltas en un F1. Y fue muy duro. Había momentos en los que no sabía qué hacer, estuve aprendiendo durante la carrera».

Colapinto y las RRSS

A pesar de las dificultades iniciales, Colapinto considera su llegada a la Fórmula 1 como un sueño hecho realidad. Sin embargo, también anunció que su enfoque está cambiando, señalando que su interacción en redes sociales será gestionada por su community manager a partir de ahora.
