La Saudí Pro League se ha fijado en el joven mediocentro del Levante, cuyo inicio de temporada está siendo excelente
En la mañana del lunes saltaba una noticia importante en la capital del Turia. Según informaba José Manuel Alemán, compañero de la Cadena SER, un club de Arabia Saudí habría puesto el ojo en Carlos Álvarez, mediocentro del Levante. Como viene siendo costumbre, los clubes árabes tratan de reforzar sus equipos a golpe de talonario, siendo el fútbol europeo el principal afectado. La propuesta de compra rondaba los 5 millones de euros.
En este caso, el Levante ha desestimado dicha oferta. En el club se considera a Carlos Álvarez como uno de los jugadores franquicia para la presente campaña. El rendimiento del hispalense durante el inicio de la temporada ha sido excelso. El joven ha sido clave en los dos partidos disputados hasta el momento. Un gol ante el Sporting de Gijón se tradujo en tres puntos, además de una asistencia ante el Cádiz para lograr un punto más.
Situación económica
Es sabido de forma pública que la situación económica del Levante no es la mejor. Durante la semana pasada, saltaba la noticia de la necesidad de ventas del conjunto valenciano. Concretamente, se hablaba de la urgencia de un ingreso mínimo de 2 millones de euros para desatascar la situación. El club todavía no ha podido inscribir a Vicente Iborra, quien volvió al club de su vida tras ser campeón de la Conference League con Olympiacos. Otros jugadores como Rober Ibáñez, Pampín y Alfonso Pastor, viven la misma situación.
El Levante podría mejorar su situación con la oferta recibida desde Arabia, pero no quieren deshacerse de Carlos Álvarez. Se dice que la operación que desobstruiría el atasco en el Levante sería la venta de Pablo Martínez al Valladolid. A su vez, este fichaje depende de una salida en Pucela. La salida de Flavien Boyomo rumbo a Osasuna sería la llave de todos los movimientos mencionados anteriormente.
A pesar de la suculenta oferta de la Saudí Pro League y la situación económica en Orriols, la solución no pasa por la venta de Carlos Álvarez. Si la serie de casuísticas comentadas se da, el Levante podrá hacer frente a su situación económica e inscribir a sus jugadores. Sin embargo, si durante esta última semana de mercado no se cierran estas operaciones, la única vía para estabilizar la economía sería una nueva inyección de capital por parte de José Danvila, máximo accionista del Levante.
