El brasileño es un jugador más que interesante para esta Primera FEB, a pesar de su inexperiencia en la segunda categoría del baloncesto español es un auténtico lujo para el Betis contar con este jugador. A Benite se le conoce en su más que dilatada trayectoria por ser un jugador de catch and shoot. Tiene muy buena mano desde el triple y un alto porcentaje de acierto cercano al 46%. En la selección carioca lo hemos visto salir siempre desde el banquillo, normalmente compartiendo pista con Yago dos Santos lo que le da un poco de más balón y de dirección de juego. Cuando comparte pista con otro tipo de bases más puros esto cambia, Benite se limita más a salidas de bloqueos indirectos y directos buscando siempre los tiros más liberados o tomar siempre ese último tiro con las ventajas generadas tras bote. Los esquinados son sus triples más buscados, mayoritariamente desde el flanco izquierdo.

Con esto el Real Betis se asegura una gran cantidad de puntos con un perfil muy ofensivo que pueda recoger el testigo que dejó Joaquín Rodríguez tras su marcha a Zaragoza.
