Los del sur de Italia se encuentran en búsqueda de un nuevo director técnico para la próxima temporada y el elegido parece ser Antonio Conte.
Días movidos los que se vienen en las oficinas del Nápoles. El pasado campeón de la Serie A no ha podido solventar otra gran temporada ni a nivel europeo ni a nivel nacional, quedando en décima posición de liga y cayendo eliminados tanto en Champions como en Coppa Italia. Todo esto ha producido un malestar constante en el club y en la afición, por lo que ya se han puesto en marcha para comenzar un proyecto de renovación… comenzando por la figura del director técnico.
Antonio Conte como clave del proyecto
Según infroma Gianluca Di Marzio (famoso periodista italiano que trabaja para Sky Sports), el nuevo director deportivo del club, Giovani Manna, ha mantenido recientemente contactos con el antiguo entrenador de clubes italianos como Juventus e Inter para cuadrar cuentas con el salario y ofrecerle la oportunidad de ser el que guíe al Nápoles en la siguiente campaña.
Conte, quien no entrena desde el 26 de marzo de 2023 (destituido por el Tottenham), no vería con malos ojos su incorporación al sur de Italia y tomar las riendas de un equipo algo perdido este año. Es por ello que los partenopeos apuestan muy fuerte por su contratación, pudiéndole ofrecer un contrato a largo plazo para reconstruir la plantilla.

Aunque parece ser que el entrenador nacido en Lecce tiene todas las papeletas para recalar en el club, De Laurentiis baraja diferentes opciones de técnicos por si no se consigue llegar a un acuerdo con Conte. Los nombres que han salido recientemente han sido Gasperini (reciente campeón con la Atalanta de la Europa League) y Pioli (se queda libre tras abandonar el AC Milán), pero puede haber algún otro movimiento en las últimas horas.
Lo que sí que es seguro que en el club dirigido actualmente por Calzona va a tomar una drástica renovación de cara a la próxima temporada. ¿Podrán de nuevo dar la sorpresa la temporada que viene o seguirán a la deriva en busca de una mejora? Pronto se sabrá.
