El FC Barcelona vence como local al Rayo Vallecano en la penúltima jornada de liga y confirma su presencia en la siguiente Supercopa de España, sumado a esto el Rayo Vallecano confirma su permanencia a pesar de la derrota por 3 a 0

Contexto

El conjunto dirigido por Xavi Hernández venció por 3 tantos a 0 al Rayo Vallecano de Iñigo Pérez. En una tarde que se preveía apacible, el equipo blaugrana ganó con dos tantos de Pedri González y un gol de Robert Lewandowski. Las expectativas del Barcelona eran consolidar el segundo puesto, mientras que la de los franjirojos era asegurar la permanencia, pendientes del resultado del Cádiz en el Nuevo Mirandilla.

 Primera Parte

El encuentro comenzó de cara para los locales desde los primeros instantes. El  lógico dominio de los culés se tradujo en un temprano tanto del nueve polaco. Un preciso centro del joven Lamine Yamal en el minuto 3 era cazado por Robert Lewandowski para meterse en la pelea por el pichichi. El partido transcurrió con normalidad, con escaso intercammbio de golpes y un dominio de pelota como de costumbre azulgrana.

 Segunda Parte

La segunda parte comenzaba con el ingreso de Andreas Christensen en detrimento de Sergi Roberto. El juego volcado hacia el duelo Espino-Yamal carecía de ocasiones claras, hasta que llegó una volea desde la frontal del área de Fermín López desviado por Dimitrievski. El ingreso de los cambios aceleró el ritmo del encuentro, decantándose de forma definitiva en favor local gracias a Pedri y Joao Félix.

El segundo tanto del Barça llegaría cuando Joao Félix se inventó un túnel en el area del Rayo, dribló con facilidad un segundo rival y disparó dejando la pelota rechazada para un Pedri que fusiló la portería del portero macedonio. Escasos 3 minutos después en el minuto 75 un desplazamiento de Araújo a la espalda vallecana fue transformado de forma brillante nuevamente por el joven mediocampista canario.

Planteamiento táctico Rayo Vallecano

El conjunto madrileño expuso su idea de juego desde el primer minuto. Palazón encajado entre líneas, defensa profunda, repliegue rápido y balones a la espalda de Cubarsí e Íñigo Martínez. El planteamiento supuso varias disputas de balón que no pudo aprovechar el equipo visitante, que en alguna ocasión conectó a través de desplazamientos largos con Sergio Camello.

El conjunto de Xavi Hernández tuvo el buen hacer de adelantarse temprano en el marcador. Esto le permitió liberar a sus jugadores en los pasillos interiores, al recibir escasa presión Cubarsí e Íñigo buscaron romper líneas de pase en varias ocasiones. Fermín López estuvo completamente liberado de responsabilidades defensivas, funcionando muy cerca del área visitante.

La posición de Fermín se tradujo en un 4-2-3-1 en fase ofensiva, con Gundogan y Roberto como mediocentros encargados de gestionar la salida de balón. Como ya se ha convertido en habitual, el equipo ha volcado su juego hacia la banda de Lamine Yamal, que se ha topado con un grana Pacha Espino. La entrada de Christensen en el segundo tiempo liberó a Gundogan y aceleró el ritmo de juego en favor del Barcelona que acabó el encuentro con sensaciones positivas.
