Los Heat sorprenden y empatan la serie

El equipo de Florida vence en Boston en un partido marcado por su acierto desde la línea de tres.

La efectividad desde el triple y la buena defensa, claves

Los Boston Celtics llegaban al partido con la posibilidad de poner el 2-0 en la serie, tras arrasar en el primer encuentro. Sin embargo, los Heat iban a vender cara su piel. El equipo de Spoelstra mantuvo el gran nivel defensivo que les caracteriza, además de responder ofensivamente. Sin Butler ni Rozier, el resto tenían que dar un paso adelante. Herro, Caleb Martin y Adebayo estuvieron excelsos, llegando los tres jugadores a más de 20 puntos con un gran acierto.

La primera mitad estuvo muy competida, llevándosela los Celtics por tres puntos. Sin embargo, la segunda parte fue completamente distinta. Los Heat apretaron más en el apartado físico, llevándose el partido a su terreno, y con un gran acierto en ataque.  A pesar del intento de reacción de los de Massachusetts, la victoria cayó del lado de los de Florida, por 101-111.

Boston dominó en transiciones tras robo, pero Miami anotó 23 triples con un 53% de acierto. El 5/6 de Caleb Martin y el 6/11 de Herro fueron cruciales, además de la gran actuación de los rookies Jaime Jaquez Jr. y Jovic. Por otro lado, Jayson Tatum, y Jaylen Brown completaron un buen partido, con 28 y 33 puntos cada uno. Porzingis fue superado  por Adebayo, con 6 puntos y un triste 1/9 en tiros de campo. Tampoco fue el partido de Holiday ni de Pritchard, piezas muy importantes para el ataque de los verdes.

Un primer partido muy diferente

El primer choque de esta serie no tuvo nada que ver. Boston comenzó dominando desde el principio, con una ventaja de 15 puntos al descanso. En este caso fueron los Celtics los que dominaron desde la línea de tres, lo que lleva siendo común toda la temporada. Los de Mazzulla llegaron a ir 30 arriba, aunque el resultado fue maquillado por Miami en el último cuarto. Al final un 114-94, lo que para algunos iba a ser la tónica general de la serie.

Por parte de los Celtics, fue un partido muy coral donde destacaron Tatum con un triple doble de 23 puntos, Porzingis, Brown  y Derrick White. Tiraron más triples, asistieron más y rebotearon mejor. En cambio, de los Heat solo se salvaron Adebayo y Jaime Jáquez Jr.

Horarios y claves para los siguientes partidos

El próximo encuentro será el domingo a las 12 de la noche hora española, en Miami. A pesar de la derrota, Boston sigue siendo favorito para llevarse la serie. La baja de Jimmy Butler se nota, y parece que será para toda la serie. Además, es difícil una noche de acierto similar por parte de los Heat, más contra una de las mejores defensas de la NBA.

Por otro lado, es imposible saber que nos tiene preparado Spoelstra para el siguiente partido. El entrenador se comió a Mazzulla, ganando el partido desde el vestuario. Los Heat son siempre competitivos, y ante la carencia de talento ofensivo saben cómo sacar sus garras y dominar desde la defensa. Han robado el factor cancha, en un campo donde los Celtics tenían un récord de 37-4 durante la temporada regular. Hay que recordar que el año pasado Miami eliminó a Boston ganando tres partidos de visitante, incluido el séptimo partido.

El cuarto encuentro será a la una de la mañana la madrugada del lunes al martes, en Miami. La serie esta más abierta que nunca, aunque Boston sigue siendo favorito tanto para la eliminatoria como para llevarse el este.
