Triunfo muy sufrido de un Real Madrid, con la mente puesta en la Euroliga, en Granada ante un Coviran que peleó hasta conseguir un resultado digno de la NBA

El colíder de la Liga Endesa, el Real Madrid, visitaba la cancha del colista, el Coviran Granada, en la jornada 8 de la Liga Endesa. Un partido muy desigualado en el que los blancos, con apenas 48 horas de descanso desde su enfrentamiento frente a Zalgiris Kaunas en la Euroliga, partían como favoritos pero en el que los rojinegros necesitaban imperiosamente volver a dar la sorpresa como en el encuentro de dos semanas atrás ante Valencia Basket.

 

Máxima igualdad con el Real Madrid mandando

Chuma Okeke en la primera acción del partido estrenó el marcador con un alley-oop puesto por Theo Maledon. Edy Tavares puso el 0-4 y comenzó su recital. Elias Valtonen anotó la primera canasta de Coviran Granada. Los locales reaccionaron al eléctrico inicio de los blancos y apretaron el choque. Tavares puso un tapón a Luka Bozic, pero cometió falta en el segundo tapón sobre Zach Hankins (13-17).

Rousselle estrenó el segundo acto con un tiro libre, y el Real Madrid sacaba rédito de un pequeña polémica en el partido. David Kramer anotó un triple en su regreso a Granada y puso trece arriba al conjunto merengue. Matt Thomas devolvió el triple, pero Okeke con otro alley-oop mantenía al Madrid en racha.

No es la NBA, es la ACB, que vibró con un Coviran Granada que luchó hasta el final ante un Real Madrid con la mente puesta en los viajes que le vienen la próxima semana en Euroliga. Los nazaríes deberán mejorar en defensa para seguir buscando su segunda victoria después del parón de selecciones.
