El equipo ilicitano refuerza la zona defensiva con la cesión del jugador gaditano
El Elche ha cerrado su primera incorporación en este mes de agosto: Víctor Chust. El defensa valenciano llega procedente del Cádiz CF en calidad de cedido, con una opción de compra condicionada al cumplimiento de objetivos, en una operación que refuerza la zaga franjiverde de cara al nuevo curso.
Con su llegada, se suma a una defensa ilicitana que ya cuenta con Bigas, Affengruber, Diaby y Barzic, aunque este último podría salir cedido antes del cierre del mercado.
Víctor Chust, de 24 años, es un defensa versátil que puede desempeñarse tanto como central como en el lateral izquierdo. En su última temporada con el conjunto gaditano disputó 40 partidos, siendo uno de los jugadores indiscutibles. Durante estos partidos logró anotar 3 goles y repartir 1 asistencia, unos registros notables para un jugador de perfil defensivo.
Más allá de sus registros ofensivos, Chust dejó cifras interesantes que reflejan su perfil como defensor. A lo largo de la última temporada, el central valenciano disputó 206 duelos defensivos, de los cuales ganó 119, lo que supone un 55,77 % de efectividad en esta faceta. Sin ser una cifra de élite, sí muestra una capacidad competitiva constante en los duelos individuales.
En cuanto al juego con balón, aportó una notable fiabilidad en la salida desde atrás. Completó 1.831 de los 2.167 pases intentados, lo que le otorga un 84,49 % de precisión en el pase, un porcentaje alto para un central y que habla de su comodidad en la circulación. Este dato resulta especialmente relevante para un equipo como el Elche, que busca construir desde campo propio y mantener la posesión con criterio.
Finalmente, Víctor Chust se convierte en la sexta incorporación del Elche en este mercado de verano, y la primera en calidad de cesión. Se suma así a los fichajes ya confirmados de Iturbe, Petrot, Germán Valera, Álvaro Rodríguez y Martim Neto, en una plantilla que sigue perfilándose bajo la dirección deportiva de Christian Bragarnik, quien acostumbra a moverse con intensidad en la recta final del mercado.
