La UEFA ha desvelado la lista de los 10 jugadores que han alcanzado una mayor velocidad durante la Eurocopa 2024. Un español se ha colado en el podio.
La Eurocopa entra en su recta final. Solo cuatro equipos han sobrevivido a la fase de grupos y a las dos primeras rondas eliminatorias: España, Francia, Inglaterra y Países Bajos. Las cuatro selecciones batallarán en las semifinales que inician hoy martes por un billete a la final, que se librará el domingo 14 de junio en Berlín. En apenas cinco días, por tanto, se conocerá al sucesor de Italia en el trono del fútbol de selecciones europeo.
En este sentido, empiezan a desfilar algunas estadísticas sobre el torneo. La UEFA, de hecho, acaba de publicar la clasificación de los 10 futbolistas más rápidos desde el inicio del torneo. Ocupa la primera plaza un jugador que, sin embargo, no se ha aproximado a su mejor versión durante esta Eurocopa: Kylian Mbappé. El atacante de la selección de Francia ha alcanzado un pico de velocidad de 36,5 km/h.
La segunda plaza se la adjudica uno de sus rivales en las semifinales: Ferran Torres. El extremo español sigue a Mbappé con una velocidad máxima de 36 km/h. En el tercer puesto, muy cerca de Torres, se encuentra Benjamin Sesko. El atacante de Eslovenia, que se despidió de la competición en octavos de final, cuenta con un pico de velocidad de 35,9 km/h, a solo una décima del atacante de propiedad del Barcelona.
El top cinco se cierra con un empate. Leroy Sané (Alemania) y Valentin Mihaila (Rumanía) se quedan igualados en 35,8 km/h, también muy cerca de los dos primeros puestos. Les sigue otro francés, Theo Hernández, que ha alcanzado una velocidad de 35,7 km/h. Por detrás se quedan Dan Ndoye (Suiza) y Micky van de Ven (Países Bajos), empatados a 35,6 km/h. Completan el top diez el danés Rasmus Hojlund (35,5 km/h) y el portugués Rafael Leao (35,4 km/h).
