Gianpiero Lambiase está agitando el mercado en este final de año. El británico parece cada vez más cerca de una salida del equipo Red Bull y ya suma dos pretendientes a su lista.
Esta semana saltó el rumor de un posible movimiento del ingeniero de Max Verstappen hacia el equipo Aston Martin, con el que estaría en conversaciones. Dos días después, se ha conocido que Lambiase también está en conversaciones con el equipo Williams.
Parece que la salida de “GP” de la escudería de latas energéticas es algo que sucederá. A partir de aquí, se habla de dos destinos.
Aston Martin
En la escudería de Silverstone le ofrecen un rol de alto cargo estilo CEO o segundo jefe de equipo para complementar las tareas de Adrian Newey al frente del equipo.
Además, ese rol incluiría la opción de no viajar a las 24 carreras del año, requisito que puede ser clave para tomar la decisión de volver a la que fue su casa antes de fichar por Red Bull.
Recordemos que Gianpiero Lambiase acabó la temporada con lágrimas después de que Verstappen ganara la última carrera en Abu Dabi, pero no pudiera alzarse con el título de pilotos en el Mundial. Esto sumado a los rumores sobre problemas personales del británico, podría estar provocando que estuviera planteándose cambiar de aires.

Según Motorsport Italia, James Vowles también estaría en negociaciones con el ingeniero de Verstappen. En este caso, el rol no está tan claro, pero se supone que también sería algún cargo importante.
No obstante, se dice que Lambiase está muy interesado en el proyecto de Williams, al que le gustaría ver triunfar en la parte alta de la parrilla.
Todo apunta a un cambio de aires de Gianpiero Lambiase, pero… ¿a dónde irá? ¿Se decantará por volver a reunirse con Newey en Aston Martin? O por el contrario, ¿le motivará devolver a un equipo histórico como Williams a la cima?
