En el 32´veía la primera tarjeta amarilla el conjunto visitante, se la mostraba el colegiado a Álex Díez.
Llegábamos al último tramo de la primera parte y los locales llevaban el control del partido, con varias ocasiones peligrosas para el arco de Antonio. Empataba el encuentro el Villarrubia en el 40´ por mediación de Álex Jiménez tras una falta peligrosa que centraba el conjunto visitante y una mala salida de Sarr remataba a placer casi sin querer después que le rebotara el balón al central visitante. Que gran parada realizaba Sarr tras un error en el saque que enganchaba Álex Pérez con un definición perfecta pero una gran mano del guardameta local evitaba el segundo del Villarrubia.
Finalizaba la primera parte con un claro dominio de los locales pero en el último cuarto de partido el Villarrubia se atrevió más y puso la igualada en el marcador.
Segunda Parte
Comenzaba la segunda parte en Rey Juan Carlos I con posesión para el Villarrubia, comenzaba con la iniciativa el conjunto visitante, pero el Manchego no se arrugaba y seguía como terminó la primera parte con transiciones peligrosas y ocasiones peligrosas para la meta de Antonio. Veía una nueva cartulina amarilla en el descuento el Manchego.
Finalizaba el encuentro entre ambos conjuntos con un reparto de puntos que sacaba a los locales por el momento de Play-off y los visitantes mantenían el liderato, un gran partido visto en el Polideportivo Rey Juan Carlos I entre dos grandes conjuntos.
