Poco descanso y un partido intenso era lo que le esperaba al conjunto merengue en su llegada al Ciutat. El líder de LaLiga, visitaba el campo de uno de los equipos que mejores impresiones estaba dejando en las primeras jornadas. Por si fuera poco, los granotas contaban con el jugador revelación: Etta Yong. El camerunes había participado en nada menos que seis goles en tan solo cinco jornadas de liga. Desde luego que todo parecía indicar, que el partido previo al derbi, era mucho más que una visita a un recién ascendido.
PRIMERA PARTE

El ritmo era la principal carácterística del partido. Tanto unos como otros, buscaban conectar con sus atacantes, de la manera más veloz posible. Los de Xabi, empezaban a encadenar ocasiones de mucho peligro. Las bandas con Vini y Mastantuono, eran eléctricas y encaraban permanentemente. Ryan ya había parado un gran disparo del «7» del Real Madrid y volvía a realizar un paradón ante el obús de Valverde. Ante esta insistencia, los valencianos se iban a pegar un disparo en el pie. En salida, perdían el balón en una posición que suele ser mortal y así iba a ser. Valverde veía al brasileño y este… Mamma mía, iba a sacar a relucir toda su calidad con un golpeo de quilates con el interior, que ponía el 0-1 ante un Ryan que solo miraba impotente.

SEGUNDA PARTE
El descenso de ritmo era más que notable. El Real Madrid trataba de acomodarse en el césped y llevar el partido por la vía más tranquila. Sin embargo, los de Julián Calero no se daban por vencidos y querían poner nerviosos a los blancos. Y en una de esas, un corte de Huijsen, iba a resultar en un balón envenenado, que como no, Etta Yong aprovechaba como un león oliendo la sangre. Recortaba distancias el Levante y el partido volvía a estar abierto. Inmediatamente, el equipo de Alonso le volvía a meter una marcha más al motor. Mbappé se enchufaba al partido y se sacaba un penalti de la maga. El francés estaba excelso y lo confirmaba con el panenka en el penalti, que volvía a poner distancia en el marcador.
Y el francés no queria quedarse ahí. En otro ataque blanco, Mbappé era el «Ferrari» que no podían coger los defensas del Levante. Como si fuera fácil, Kylian se marchaba del portero en carrera y remataba la jugada a placer, sin Ryan en portería. Tras esto, el ritmo volvía a dar una marcha atrás, pero los ataques merengues seguían llegando, aunque de manera menos clara.
Y con tres minutos de añadido, Vinicius seguía corriendo en busca de su doblete, que deje claro que su partido ha recordado a su versión de siempre. Justo en la última, Rodrygo desde dentro del área, también chutaba pero se iba lejos de la portería, poniendo fin al partido.
