El conjunto de la ciudad condal se impuso al conjunto madrileño con dos goles de Ferrán Torres y uno de Dani Olmo, que le hace al FC Barcelona seguir en su persecución del liderato, que posee el Real Madrid. Por el otro lado el Getafe CF ocupa el octavo puesto empatado a puntos con otros tres conjuntos.

Encuentro dominado de principio a fin por un Barcelona que no atisbo de reacción a un Getafe que no tuvo más opción que aguantar el chaparrón de fútbol por parte del rival. El Getafe encontró una pequeña esperanza a la reanudación del encuentro con alguna llegada pero bien resueltas por la defensa, mientras que el Barcelona propuso un gran ritmo de juego incapaz de ser seguido por el conjunto madrileño, que recibió más llegadas en la segunda mitad tras adelantar aún más sus líneas en búsqueda de una remontada imposible.

Abqar: 7. Gran actuación del marroquí con grandes disputas con Lewandowski, muchas veces ganadas.
Diego Rico: 6. Pocas veces superado por Raphinha y con gran llegada a campo rival en el inicio de la segunda mitad.
Mario Martín: 4. Partido malo del toledano con una amarilla nada más iniciar el encuentro, aunque muy intenso en cada disputa como de costumbre.
Luis Milla: 6. Único jugador que intentó dominar el balón y mejorar el juego de su equipo.
Arambarri: 5. Partido flojo del uruguayo aunque siempre luchador en todas las jugadas.
Mayoral: 4. No generó peligro alguno en el área de Joan Garcia y sin balón no tuvo una gran participación.
Liso: 7. Gran juego sin balón con luchas con los defensas rivales y única amenaza del Getafe en todo el encuentro.
Cambios:
Davinci: 5. Buenas actuaciones defensivas aunque con ciertos fallos.
Kamara: 4. Realizó alguna internada a lo largo de la segunda mitad aunque sin ningún peligro.
J.Muñoz: 7. Muy buenos 45 minutos con la llegada más clara del Getafe con un disparo que rozó el poste.
Coba: 3. No aportó mucha frescura a la delantero tras salir con el encuentro prácticamente sentenciado.
