Chiki ha sido presentado esta mañana como nuevo jugador del FC Cartagena en la sala de prensa del Estadio Municipal Cartagonova
El sábado se hizo oficial su fichaje por el conjunto albinegro y en la mañana de hoy, Chiki ha dejado sus primeras declaraciones. Esto ha sido lo más destacado:

¿Qué te motivó a fichar por el Cartagena?: «Bueno, sí que es verdad que tenía opciones de tanto de esta categoría como de Segunda División y bueno, Cartagena siempre ha sido una de mis prioridades durante todo el mercado. La opción de venir aquí también es tanto por Manolo como por el míster que insistieron mucho en mi fichaje, me dijeron cosas muy buenas del club, del juego y demás. Entonces, fue fue un poquito tardío, pero tengo muchas ganas de de seguir aquí. Es el club ideal para volver a Segunda División».
Similitudes entre Cartagena y Alcorcón: Muy parecidas. Al final yo estoy en Primera RFEF, pero quiero volver otra vez al fútbol profesional. La opción más fácil es subir con el equipo y yo voy a muerte con eso».
Recuperar su mejor nivel: «Si llega será sobre todo por a mis compañeros. Este año vengo con un poco con esa con esa intención de volver a marcar muchos goles».
La conversación con Nacho: «Sí hablé con él varias veces antes de venir aquí y después de que él viniese y me habló muy bien de de la ciudad, del equipo, del club, del míster y todo».
Javi Rey, su nuevo entrenador: «Ya me habían hablado muy bien de él. Es muy exigente eso sí, pero bueno, luego también tiene esa faceta personal que creo que que se nota a la hora de de gestionar jugadores y personas, creo que es muy importante. Y bueno, lo que lo que te he dicho luego, fuera del campo es muy cercano».
Su paso por la cantera del Sporting de Gijón: «Fue un cambio para mí muy grande. Mareo es una ciudad deportiva increíble y aprendí mucho».
¿Cómo se puede beneficiar con el nuevo esquema?: «A nivel ofensivo que que vamos a tener herramientas para en función del partido que sea atacar tanto en bloque bajo como si nos presionan y demás. Entonces creo que que va a tener soluciones ofensivas, que eso es una de las cosas que me ha llamado para venir aquí».
Fan incondicional del fútbol pero sobre todo del baloncesto. He cubierto varios eventos relacionados con este último deporte: Playoff Liga Endesa, Copa del Rey y Supercopa Endesa.
