El diamante en bruto de Butarque pone rumbo a Alemania por 20 millones de euros tras una operación con giros, ofertas cruzadas y una venta histórica para el Leganés
Un lunes de vértigo con Diomandé: aterrizaje, acuerdo… y giro inesperado
Lunes 14 de julio. Mientras en Estados Unidos el Leganés seguía con su pretemporada, en Alemania comenzaba la cuenta atrás para uno de los movimientos más relevantes e inesperados del verano pepinero. Yan Diomandé aterrizaba en Frankfurt sobre las 14:30 (hora peninsular). Allí, pasaría el reconocimiento médico con el RB Leipzig y firmar un contrato hasta 2030.
El joven extremo costamarfileño, canterano pepinero y sensación en el tramo final de la pasada temporada en Primera, se había ganado el interés de grandes clubes tras un final de curso imponente: dos goles, una asistencia, desparpajo en banda y un debut soñado en el Santiago Bernabéu con solo 18 años. Su deseo estaba claro: no seguir en Segunda División y competir en la élite del fútbol mundial.
Leipzig, Leverkusen, Mónaco… y el juego de las cláusulas por Diomandé
Mientras Diomandé pasaba pruebas médicas con el Leipzig, el Bayer Leverkusen irrumpía con fuerza en la operación, dispuesto a pagar los 20 millones de euros de su cláusula al contado, sin negociaciones, sin condiciones.
El Leipzig, por su parte, proponía otro modelo: pagar los 20 millones, sí, pero en plazos, y a cambio, incluir un porcentaje de futura venta para el Leganés. El club pepinero se inclinó por esta segunda fórmula, buscando no solo el ingreso inmediato, sino también posibles beneficios a largo plazo.
En paralelo, aparecía otro actor: el Mónaco. Sin embargo, fue el propio jugador quien rechazó la oferta del club del Principado. Diomandé quería Bundesliga. Y la quería con el Leipzig.
Fabrizio, Bakayoko y las dudas del aficionado
Durante la tarde del mismo lunes, la operación parecía tambalearse cuando Fabrizio Romano anunció el inminente fichaje de Johan Bakayoko por el RB Leipzig, otro atacante joven que podría cerrar minutos a Diomandé. Las dudas crecían entre la afición pepinera.
Finalmente, por la noche, Matteo Moretto confirmó que todo estaba encarrilado: Diomandé había superado el reconocimiento médico y el acuerdo con el Leipzig se cerraba en los términos planteados.
¿Cláusula o acuerdo? Las claves del traspaso de Diomandé:
Aunque el montante final equivale a los 20 millones de la cláusula, el traspaso no fue ejecutado vía cláusula de rescisión, sino mediante un acuerdo entre clubes. ¿Qué implica eso?
- Que el Lega negoció, lo que permitió incluir un porcentaje en futura venta.
- Que el pago no será íntegro ni inmediato, sino según una fórmula pactada.
- No fue una venta forzada, sino aceptada por el club, como dejó bien claro Andrés Pardo.
El adiós de Yan Diomandé: una operación histórica para el Leganés
Yan Diomandé se convierte en la mayor venta del Leganés en Segunda División. Asimismo, iguala a En-Nesyri como el traspaso más alto de la historia del club. Para colmo, es la cuarta venta más alta en la historia de LaLiga Hypermotion.
El Lega pierde a su gran perla, un jugador que podría haber sido referencia absoluta en la categoría. Duele, duele perder a un futbolista tan buen y canterano del club, pero a nivel económico, el negocio es impecable.
Fichajes, críticas y el debate interno
Con la venta cerrada por 20 millones, más los 8 millones de ayuda por descenso y los ingresos ordinarios del club, la afición mira ahora hacia la dirección deportiva. De las siete incorporaciones realizadas hasta la fecha, seis han llegado libres. La única con coste ha sido Sebastián Figueredo, por apenas 200.000 euros.
La hinchada reclama reinvertir una parte significativa del traspaso para formar un equipo competitivo que permita regresar cuanto antes a Primera. Según ha publicado el diario AS, la intención del club sí es utilizar los 20 millones en fichajes. Cabe recordar que BCS (Blue Crow Sports), la empresa propietaria del Lega, tiene libertad total para decidir sobre los fondos.
Además, el club arrastra una deuda de 18 millones de euros a medio y largo plazo. Esto, condicionar el uso inmediato del dinero.
¿Y Juan Cruz?
La venta de Diomandé marca también una línea roja para futuros movimientos. El mensaje es claro: si algún club quiere a Juan Cruz, tendrá que abonar su cláusula o una cantidad muy cercana para negociar y acercar posturas. Eso haría llegar a un beneficio mutuo: que el hispano-argentino salga del Lega, lo que él quiere, y que el club ingrese una cantidad de dinero acorde a su rendimiento. El Leganés no regalará a nadie. La política está definida.
