El Getafe encadena una nueva derrota más en un partido que los azulones no encontraron el ritmo de partido y una defensa muy floja cometiendo hasta dos penaltis , lo aprovechó el Valencia que con un resultado amplio Pepelu de penalti, Diego López y nuevamente otro penalti convertido por Hugo Duro subían al conjunto ché al tren de Europa y mantenían su gran racha en este tramo final de temporada.

El Getafe viajaba en esta jornada 35 a un campo más que difícil como es Mestalla, para enfrentarse a un Valencia que ha encontrado la tecla y que viene haciendo un último tramo de temporada espectacular. Sus últimos cinco partidos cuentan con tres victorias una de ellas frente al Madrid como visitante y dos empates, una racha que hace que el conjunto Ché pase de pelear por la salvación a estar a 4 puntos de los puestos europeos.

Los de José Bordalás llegan en un momento donde no encuentran esa regularidad que meses atrás mantenían, sus últimos cinco partidos cuentan con una victoria que fue su última desde entonces frente al Valladolid y 4 derrotas, unos resultados que hacen que se aleje el sueño europeo y se acerque un año más la lucha por la salvación, hoy podían certificar matemáticamente la permanencia una temporada más.

Primera Parte

Daba comienzo el encuentro en Mestalla con posesión para el Valencia, tenía más acercamiento el Getafe en estos primeros minutos de partido pero sin mucho peligro. Era el 6´de partido y el colegiado señalaba penalti tras una entrada en el área de Alderete sobre Hugo Duro, veía la primera cartulina amarilla del encuentro el internacional con Paraguay y Pepelu que era el encargado de lanzar el penalti no fallaba con un gran chut que David Soria adivinaba pero no conseguía parar el lanzamiento, 7´de partido y ya se ponía por delante el Valencia. El Valencia seguía teniendo mucho peligro y el Getafe sufría, pero en el 12´una gran falta ejecutada por Alderete que superaba la barrera y Mamardashvili tuvo que sacar una mano espectacular para evitar el empate. Que ocasión desaprovecho el conjunto Ché tras un error en el despeje de Soria que se la regalaba a Almeida y no se lo pensó en chutar a portería vacía, se fue por muy poco.

Marcaba el Valencia el segundo en el 18´por mediación de Diego López tras una falta de contundencia por parte de la zaga del Getafe y un chut que se envenena tras tocar en Alderete y David Soria no pudo evitar el tanto. Segunda amarilla del encuentro también para el conjunto azulón, la veía Diego Rico. Llegaba otro gran balón entre líneas de Diego López que dejaba solo a Almeida y a punto estuvo de llegar el tercero, aguantó bien Soria en el mano a mano, pero en el 35´de nuevo otra jugada donde la defensa del Getafe hacia aguas y Domingos Duarte intentaba cortar la trayectoria de Hugo Duro y el colegiado no dudaba en señalar penalti, veía amarilla el portugués, se encargaba de lanzar el penalti Hugo Duro y no fallaba tampoco, engañó a Soria en el lanzamiento, pero el Valencia quería más y no dejaba de hacer ocasiones. Otra gran ocasión que tenía el Getafe tras un gran remate de Peter pero el guardameta Ché sacaba una gran mano, seguía el Getafe buscando el gol.

Concluía la primera parte con un Getafe irreconocible y un Valencia que en transición estaba haciendo mucho daño al Getafe y con un juego perfecto dejaba casi sentenciado el partido.

Segunda Parte

Rodaba el balón en Mestalla con posesión para el Getafe que intentaba dar una mejor versión en el encuentro. Veían la amarilla Diego López y David Soria tras un encontronazo, nos encontrábamos en el 50´de partido. Seguía el partido con el Getafe teniendo sus llegadas pero atrás no tenía esa solidez y el Valencia mantenía el ritmo de llegadas a portería contraria y su intensidad en el juego. Realizaba cambios José Bordalás buscando acortar distancias en el marcador. Veía la amarilla en el 72´Javi Guerra, el Getafe estaba insistiendo en crear ocasiones y buscando el gol. Quedaba un cuarto de hora de partido y el marcador no se movía y ninguno de los dos equipos tenían la intensidad del principio, las fuerzas empezaban a faltar en algunos jugadores, en el 83´veía nuevamente una nueva tarjeta el Getafe para Berrocal en este caso y ya eran 4 las cartulinas amarillas para los de José Bordalás.

Concluía el encuentro en Mestalla, un partido que el Getafe pudo dar más pero que no le salió nada y una defensa con muchas carencias, todo lo contrario le salió al conjunto valenciano, todo fue a favor para ellos y se llevaron los tres puntos.
