Según medios españoles, la Roma estaría interesada en hacerse con los servicios del jugador brasileño.

El gran presente de Antony en el Betis está recogiendo sus frutos. Su gran nivel está ayudando a que los andaluces estén cerca de su primera final europea con la Conference League. Además, los béticos están peleando por un puesto en Champions para el próximo año. Las actuaciones del delantero de Osasco no han pasado desapercibidas, ya que uno de los grandes de la Serie A como es la Roma estaría interesado en hacerse con los servicios del jugador del Betis.

Aun así, los romanos no lo tendrán fácil en intentar incorporarlo. El jugador sudamericano es actualmente propiedad del Manchester United aunque en estos momentos esté cedido en la escuadra hispalense. Tras la finalización de la cesión del jugador, los mancunianos estarán en miras de sacar en torno a 50 millones por el posible traspaso así que los clubes interesados tendrán que hacer un importante esfuerzo económico. De hecho en caso de clasificarse el Betis a Champions, el premio por clasificación les supondría a los andaluces una gran ayuda para cubrir el monto del traspaso.

Antony es un atacante que destaca por su regate, finalización y visión de juego. El estilo de juego que ha mostrado el brasileño tanto en tierras hispanas con el Betis como en su etapa con el Ajax, puede ser de mucha ayuda para varios entrenadores.
