Terminan arrasando al Leverkusen y llevándose con bastante solvencia el partido los locales

Se verían las caras el Bayern Múnich y el Bayer Leverkusen en la ida de los octavos de final de la UEFA Champions League. Los dirigidos por Vincent Kompany se enfrentaban con su «némesis», contra el que llevan 6 partidos sin conseguir la victoria desde la llegada de Xabi Alonso al banquillo del Leverkusen.

Primera parte

Salió al partido el Bayern Múnich con el objetivo de no dejar que el Leverkusen juegue cómodo. Fueron los principales dominadores del encuentro y los que atacaban con una mayor eficacia.

No tardó el Bayern en poner el primer gol en el marcador. En el minuto 9 se fue Olise por banda derecha y puso el balón para Harry Kane que con un ajustado remate de cabeza al lado izquierdo, puso el 1-0 en el marcador.

Tuvo una ocasión clarísima el Bayer Leverkusen para recortar distancias poco tiempo después, remató solo Frimpong dentro del área pero detuvo con solvencia Manuel Neuer.

Achuchó un poco el Bayer Leverkusen, pero durante poco tiempo. El Bayern no tardaría en retomar el dominio en la posesión, y sus ataques eran cada vez más serios.

Finalmente, el árbitro decretó el final del encuentro con un resultado de 3-0 a favor del Bayern Múnich, rompiendo así la mala racha de resultados frente al equipo de Xabi Alonso.
