Su primera parte fue muy mala, destacada por un pase atrás a Musso que se quedó corto y Ferrán perdonó un mano a mano, y la pérdida de marcaje en el córner en el que Iñigo Martínez puso el 3-2 antes del descanso. En la segunda mitad, con la entrada al campo de Molina, pasó a jugar en el centro del campo y tuvo mejores actuaciones, marcando el 3-4 tras una llegada a área.
Giménez: 5. No tuvo errores manifiestos pero encajar 4 goles declara que no tuvo su mejor partido.
Lenglet: 5. Misma valoración que para Giménez, 4 goles no son indicio de tener una buena actuación.
Javi Galán: 2. Fatal partido del lateral derecho del Atleti. No puedo detener a Lamine Yamal en ninguna ocasión, y el atacante blaugrana generó muchísimo peligro durante la primera mitad a raíz de driblar al extremeño. Además, Galán vio la amarilla en el minuto 15 tras otro intento de parar a la joven atacante blaugrana. Fue sustituido a los 10 minutos del comienzo de la segunda mitad.
Giuliano: 6. El cholito tuvo un papel complicado con la tan adelantada defensa del Barcelona, lo que impidió que se viesen tantas carreras al espacio como ha hecho otros partidos. En el minuto 55 entró Lino sustituyéndole.
De Paul: 5. Poco que añadir al partido de Rodri De Paul. Sale en la foto del primer gol del Barcelona por no estar cubriendo el sitio en el que Pedri remata completamente solo.
Barrios: 5. Buen partido del centrocampista español que volvía a la titularidad tras su sanción en Liga y disputó buenos 90 minutos, a excepción de la pérdida de marca en el segundo gol del Barcelona, anotado por Cubarsí.
Gallagher: 6. El inglés volvía a ser titular en Montjuic como lo fue en el partido de Liga. Aportó tanto ofensiva como defensivamente, pero el dominio culé pudo con el británico. Jugó 60 minutos.
Julián Álvarez: 10. Partido estratosférico de la estrella del Atleti. Marcó en el 1′, y asistió en el 5′ a Griezmann. Fue el mejor de los suyos una vez más, colaborando en salida de balón en todo momento y siendo el principal responsable de las llegadas de su equipo.
Griezmann: 9. Soberbio Antoine. Volvió a demostrar que tiene fútbol para rato. Marcó el segundo gol de su equipo tras un buen desmarque al espacio, y además hizo un gran trabajo en salida de balón, como de costumbre, junto a su mejor socio Julián. Simeone le sustituyó a los 65 minutos para dar piernas frescas en el ataque.
Suplentes:
Reinildo: 4. Tras la sustituir a Galán, tomó el rol de nueva víctima de Lamine Yamal. El gol de Lewandowski llega tras una gran jugada de Yamal que deja atrás al mozambiqueño.
Lino: 7. El brasileño intervino muy poco en el rato que jugó, pero dio la asistencia al gol con el que se cerró el marcador.
Molina: 5. Sufrió con los ataques de Raphinha pero pudo mantenerse firme.
Correa: 7. Tuvo destellos de su calidad que acercaron al equipo al gol, y asistió a Llorente para el 3-4 y seguir vivos en la eliminatoria. Perdonó el empate a 4 en el minuto 87 fallando un mano a mano que paro Szczęsny.
Sorloth: 9. Replicó el partido de liga marcando el último gol en el descuento y dejando la eliminatoria viva para su equipo.
