En la primera no hemos sido tan dominados como en la segunda, pero hemos estado más cómodos en la segunda. Es un escenario que a mí me gusta, pero a veces eres capaz de hacer la referencia en la exposición porque somos buenos, pero otras veces como en la segunda parte no hemos podido”.
Iñigo Pérez siguió hablando de las ocasiones que tuvieron en el partido: “Si miramos el cómputo general de ocasiones, ellos han tenido más oportunidades de hacernos gol. Pero las dos que hemos tenido también han sido muy claras. Por ello, ha sido justo el empate, pero en puntos ganarían ellos”.
El descanso ha sido importante para los franjirrojos en muchas ocasiones y el técnico lo ha explicado así “El descanso ha sido un punto de inflexión como contra el Salamanca. Ellos mismos se dan cuenta qué hacer en cada escenario o en cuáles somos verdaderamente peligrosos. Creo que lo han hecho y han sido muy valientes, jugamos bien al fútbol y defendemos bien, aunque tenemos carencias y mejoras, el grupo de jugadores que tengo es único y es un orgullo dirigirlos. Ahora tenemos que afrontar la segunda parte de la temporada tras el parón y poder mejorar”.
Además, ensalzó la figura de Aridane: “Nunca he tenido dudas de su rendimiento. Sé cuáles son sus virtudes, pero muchas veces se le señala a un jugador por ciertas acciones, pero yo no puedo jugar con rencor, tengo que ayudarlo y no tenía ninguna duda de que Aridane nos iba a ayudar como lo ha hecho, ha hecho un gran partido”
Por último, Iñigo Pérez habló sobre Isi y su nueva posición: “Después de ver el recorrido que tiene de extremo derecho y que los rivales lo tienen controlado, creo que tiene más libertad pero necesita un periodo de adaptación. Es una posición que tiene que añadir a su registro”.
