El futbolista holandés lesionado desde el pasado mes de abril  regresa a una convocatoria para enfrentarse al Young Boys en la segunda jornada de la Champions League.

Problemas con su tobillo

El tobillo de Frenkie estaba siendo un dolor de cabeza para el jugador y para el club. Al comienzo de la temporada pasada el  jugador sufrió su primer contratiempo con su tobillo derecho.  Tras una disputa, fue al suelo  y acabó sufriendo un esguince que lo mantuvo fuera dos meses.

Menos de tres meses después de su primera lesión  de tobillo, en San Mamés saltó a rematar un balón y se torció el tobillo ya lesionado anteriormente. Afortunadamente para el jugador, solo tuvo que estar fuera de los terrenos de juego un mes. La lesión más grave fue hace casi cinco  meses, concretamente durante el último Clásico, en el  que el holandés, tras un encontronazo con Fede Valverde, se lesionó su tobillo derecho manteniéndole en el ‘dique seco’ hasta hoy.

Frenkie concedió ayer una entrevista en el medio oficial del club, para aclarar toda su situación, tanto médica como contractual. Estos asuntos, últimamente siempre han sido muy criticados  por la afición culé. Respecto a su salario,  afirmaba que «no es cierto que cobre 37 millones de euros. Es una cifra muy grande y está muy lejos de lo que realmente gano”. Por otro lado también ha hablado sobre los rumores que decían que tenia que pasar por quirófano;» A lo largo de mi recuperación he optado por permanecer en silencio. No es cierto que en el club me dijeran que tenía que operarme y yo no quería, porque todos en el club, los médicos y yo mismo estuvimos de acuerdo en que operarse no era la mejor opción.» Por último también ha querido comentar su estado físico actual diciendo que “tener tres lesiones en el mismo tobillo me provocó un poco de trauma mental” y que «poco a poco estoy recuperando la confianza para patear el balón con fuerza y hacer entradas con fuerza. Encaje en el Barça de Flick

El esquema del técnico alemán parece que le va  ‘como anillo al dedo’ al futbolista holandés. Debido a la baja de Marc Bernal para lo que resta de temporada y viendo que Flick juega con dos mediocampistas uno más estilo pivote y el otro haciendo el rol de mediocampista más llegador pero con tareas defensivas,  todo parece indicar que allí  podría tener muchos minutos. El pivote  actualmente   es para Casadó o para el reconvertido Eric Garcia.  La presencia en el once no la tiene para nada asegurada, ya que por detrás tiene a jugadores como Gavi o Pedri, aunque este último, apunta a jugar de mediocampista ofensivo tras la baja de Olmo.

De Jong  cuando militaba en el Ajax,  jugaba en un doble pivote siendo el el que iniciaba todas las jugadas . En el FC Barcelona el holandés,  empezó en su primera temporada con Valverde, jugando de pivote posicional donde no estuvo a un buen nivel y el entrenador vasco lo cambió de demarcación situándolo como interior, pero tampoco resultó ser una buena idea.

Fue con Xavi cuando se pudo  ver la mejor versión del holandés en ‘Can Barça’. El de Terrasa le colocó en un doble pivote junto a Sergio Busquets, y fue allí donde consiguió brillar ya que se encontraba más liberado y así pudo conectar  mejor con todo el equipo, especialmente con los de arriba. Según ha comentado Hansi Flick en la previa del partido de mañana frente al Young Boys, «Frenkie va a ser un jugador muy importante para nosotros y estoy muy feliz por su vuelta».
