Iñigo Pérez: «Intentaré acertar en función de lo que suele hacer el Leganés»

Iñigo Pérez compareció ante los medios en la tarde de ayer en la previa al partido que enfrentará este Sábado a las 16:15h al Rayo Vallecano y CD Leganés en el Campo de Fútbol de Vallecas. La pasada jornada, los franjirrojos rascaron un punto en un campo complicado como es Montilivi ante un Girona que les tuvo muy sometidos defensivamente. Destacó la ausencia de James Rodríguez en el campo, y la lesión del lateral izquierdo, Pep Chavarría.

Después de que el último encuentro el Rayo Vallecano viajara hasta Girona, esta octava jornada los franjirrojos se reencuentran con su afición en su estadio en el que es uno de los derbis madrileños de la temporada tras el recién ascenso a primera del CD Leganés. La semana pasada los de Vallecas sufrieron en Montilivi, especialmente en la segunda parte del encuentro en el que el Rayo Vallecano se encerró atrás para impedir la derrota. De esta forma, y debido a la exigencia del partido anterior, Iñigo Pérez ha sido preguntado en rueda de prensa sobre las posibles rotaciones ante los pepineros: «Venimos de escenarios complejos a nivel físico y a nivel táctico e intentaré acertar el once con aquellos jugadores que nos puedan ayudar».

Además, el Rayo Vallecano enfrentará la ausencia de Pep Chavarría por lesión, quien estará fuera al menos durante los próximos dos partidos antes del parón, según confirmó Pérez. Esto trastoca el esquema del once titular en el que se había asentado Chavarría. Sin embargo, Iñigo Pérez ha reiterado que el Rayo Vallecano cuenta con una gran plantilla de jugadores que pueden suplir la baja de Chavarría.

Respecto al rival, el CD Leganés viene de atravesar un mal momento con una racha de cinco derrotas consecutivas. Pese a esto, Iñigo Pérez ha querido elogiar el desempeño del conjunto pepinero esta temporada, especialmente su solidez defensiva fuera de casa.
