Hoy a las 21 el Parc des Princes será testigo del debut del Girona en la UEFA Champions League. Un debut por todo lo alto enfrentándose a uno de los grandes de Europa, el PSG.

Los Gironins arrancan su sueño

El Girona ha arrancado esta temporada con varios altibajos, en las cinco jornadas de liga disputadas ha obtenido un total de 7 puntos de 15 posibles, es decir dos victorias, un empate y dos derrotas ante Atlético y Barcelona. Pese a las dos derrotas, los gironins han demostrado ser un equipo bastante goleador anotando 8 tantos en 5 partidos, cuatro de ellos en la victoria contra Osasuna.

La pasada jornada los de Flick arrollaron al conjunto catalán en el derbi. Lamine abrió la lata con un doblete con tan solo siete minutos de diferencia, al arranque de la segunda mitad Olmo anotaba un golazo en el 47′ y Pedri sentenciaba el encuentro con un tanto en el 64′. Stuani anotó un tanto en el 80′ pero fue demasiado tarde para intentar una remontada.

Apoyo de su afición

Unos 900 almas blanc-i-vermelles acudirán a París para animar a los suyos en el estreno en la Champions. Este enfrentamiento contra el PSG es una cita histórica que los aficionados del conjunto catalán no han querido perderse.

No todos podrán acudir a París para ver a su equipo jugar en la máxima competición europea, para ello deberán esperar hasta el 2 de octubre, día en el que se disputará el primer partido de Champions en Montilivi contra el Feyenoord.

Les Parisiens van con todo

Por su parte, los de Luis Enrique han logrado el pleno de victorias en estas primeras jornadas de la Ligue 1, derrotando al Le Havre 1-4, goleando al Montpellier 6-0, al Lille 1-3 y al Stade Brestois 3-1. A lo largo de las cuatro primeras jornadas no se ha notado la ausencia de Mbappe, ya que el conjunto parisino ha demostrado ser el mismo equipo goleador que antes.

En el último encuentro contra el Stade Brestois, el conjunto de Brest comenzó adelantándose en el marcador con un tanto de penalti en el 29′, pero Dembélé empató el encuentro antes de marcharse al descanso. En el 73′ Fabián desempató el encuentro en el 73′ y al minuto Dembélé marcaba el 3-1 definitivo.
