Karl Hein, Darwin Machís y Raúl Moro fueron convocados con sus selecciones, los 2 primeros cosechando unos resultados adversos y el último teniendo un papel residual en los triunfos de la Rojita

El Real Valladolid recupera a sus 3 internacionales Moro, Machís y Hein tras regresar de jugar con sus selecciones. El extremo del Pucela fue convocado con la selección Sub21 española, que logró ganar sus 2 enfrentamientos, pero con un escaso protagonismo para el jugador catalán. Por otro lado, Hein fue crucial para su selección aunque no consiguió sumar ningún punto, cosechando 2 dolorosas derrotas. A su vez Machís fue suplente en los partidos de la Vinotinto, siendo de los mejores de su selección en el empate ante Uruguay y la derrota ante Bolivia. 

Poco protagonismo de Moro en la clasificación de la Rojita

Raúl Moro fue convocado con la Rojita de Santi Denia, para disputar los encuentros ante Escocia y Hungría en los clasificatorios para el Europeo Sub21 de este verano. Los de Santi Denia ganaron ambos encuentros siendo muy superiores en ambos, ganando 1-2 a Escocia y 0-1 a Hungría. El catalán se tuvo que resignar en el primer encuentro con ver la victoria desde el banquillo, no disputando ningún minuto. En la victoria ante los húngaros, Moro partía de inicio desde el banquillo y pudo disputar 13 minutos, saliendo en el minuto 83. En estos minutos el jugador del Real Valladolid dejó algunos detalles de su calidad, aunque su rendimiento pasó inadvertido en los peores minutos de los de Santi Denia en el encuentro de Szeged.

El meta estonio se marchó convocado con su selección para disputar 2 encuentros de la liga C de la UEFA Nations League. En estos partidos Estonia se enfrentaba a Eslovaquia y Suecia, cayendo en ambos. Hein fue titular en ambos encuentros, evitando que los suyos cosechasen goleadas. En el primer encuentro Estonia caía por 0-1 ante una Eslovaquia que fue muy superior desde el inicio y donde la actuación de Hein hizo que los suyos llegarán con opciones de puntuar a los minutos finales. Peor fue el segundo partido de Estonia, en el que Suecia se impuso desde el principio y ganó por 3-0 ante una floja estonia. Pese a lo abultado de la derrota Hein tuvo un papel protagonista y evitó que Suecia lograse una goleada histórica.

La Venezuela de Machís se estanca

Darwin Machís no logró revertir su papel de suplente con la selección, tras llegar como uno de los recambios de Pezzolano. Además, pese a ser suplente y entrar desde el banquillo no se libró de las criticas venezolanas en redes tras la derrota por 4-0 ante Bolivia y el empate a nada ante Uruguay. El primer partido se disputó en el Estadio Municipal De El Alto, a 4085 metros sobre el nivel del mar, donde los bolivianos se impusieron con claridad ante la Venezuela de Machís. El extremo del Pucela disputó la segunda parte completa, siendo de los mejores de Venezuela intentando desbordar aunque con escasa efectividad. En el segundo partido, también le tocaba salir desde el banquillo, pero desde que entrase en el minuto 59 se convirtió en el agitador del partido. Machís no paró de intentarlo ante Uruguay y cerca estuvo de darle con varios tiros el triunfo a la Vinotinto, pero un colosal Rochet negó el gol a Machís, que se tuvo que conformar con el 0-0.
