El mallorquín cumple su sueño de debutar en primera división con tan solo 17 años

Marc Domenech ha cumplido el sueño de cualquier chico. El delantero debutó ante el Sevilla en Son Moix y pudo jugar los minutos finales del encuentro. Estos minutos y todo el trabajo previo en la pretemporada lo llevaron a ser titular ante el Leganés. Contó con una hora de juego para poder demostrarle a Arrasate que va a luchar por minutos.

Rompe récords

El delantero de tan solo 17 años fichó por el Mallorca en este mercado de verano procedente del San Francisco. Lo sorprendente de Domenech es que no ha pasado por las categorías inferiores. Arrasate se lo llevó con el primer equipo para la preparación de la pretemporada, donde destacó con tres goles. Este instinto goleador llamó la atención del técnico y le hizo debutar en la Primera División sin haber jugado ninguna competición oficial previamente con la camiseta del Mallorca. Así se ha convertido en el primer jugador en ser traspasado desde categorías inferiores y debutar directamente con el primer equipo del Mallorca.

La nueva perla del Mallorca cuenta con grandes estadísticas a sus espaldas. Lideró la tabla goleadora con 21 tantos (grupo III de División de Honor). Esta cantidad de goles le valió la permanencia a su antiguo club.

Además, pasó por otro grande de la isla, el Atlético Baleares, donde estuvo casi una década en la posición de defensa. Con la llegada de la pandemia llegó al San Francisco, donde inició de centrocampista y acabó de delantero centro. Pero, está no es la primera vez que Domenech acapara los focos. La temporada pasada ya llamó la atención de uno de los clubes más grandes de España, el Barcelona. Pero, la operación al final no se dio.

Ahora el delantero está concentrado con la selección sub-19 de España. Falta ver que planes tiene Arrasate para el joven delantero.
