Pero es profundamente injusto con España y, particularmente, con Madrid, decir que somos una sociedad racista y que, además, ponga en peligro la celebración del Mundial 2030».
«Tiene que rectificar, pedir disculpas. Saber que cuando haya un episodio racista nos va a tener a todos a su lado, pero no nos va a tener a todos a su lado cuando diga que somos racistas. Porque eso no es cierto. Cuando uno se equivoca tiene que rectificar», señalaba.

Si algo caracteriza a la ciudad de Madrid es que a nadie se le pregunta de donde viene ni a donde va. Aquí a nadie se le considera ni se le excluye. Que él tenga que haber soportado determinados episodios lamentables no justifica que tache prácticamente a toda la sociedad española de racista y que diga que el Mundial 2030 no se tiene que celebrar», concluía.
