Volvió hace un año, limpió su imagen a base de buen juego pero sus dudas en el proyecto han hecho que el camero ponga fin a su etapa en Nervión y no prolongue su contrato. No hay diversidad de opiniones, podía haberse ganado al sevillismo pero otra vez sus actos hacen que salga por la puerta de atrás del club que dice amar. Eso y los millones que se le ofrece desde Estados Unidos.

Sergio Ramos exigía tanto a nivel económico (sabiendo como esta la situación) como a nivel deportivo, algo a lo que el club no podía aspirar. Del Nido ofreció al central sevillano  una renovación ‘vitalicia’ con una ligera subida salarial, pero la oferta le ha parecido insuficiente a un jugador que decide marcharse a seguir, con un sueldo mas bajo, en el club en el que se formó.

De esta manera, Sergio Ramos pone fin a su segunda etapa en el Sevilla  con 37 partidos, un total de 3.301 minutos y 7 goles anotados.

El club hispalense lo ha hecho oficial a través de un comunicado que reza lo siguiente:

«Sergio Ramos ha comunicado al Sevilla FC que no continuará la temporada que viene en la entidad de Nervión después de haber cumplido su sueño de volver al club donde se formó como jugador y alcanzó la internacionalidad absoluta. Sergio Ramos ha disputado 37 partidos en la temporada 23/24, con un total de 3.301 minutos y 7 goles en su haber.

El Sevilla FC quiere agradecer el compromiso, el liderazgo y la máxima entrega que Sergio Ramos ha demostrado en esta campaña, deseándole la mejor de las suertes en su próximo reto profesional».

Sergio Ramos se despedirá públicamente este martes a las 11.00 horas en la sala de prensa del Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, acompañado del presidente, José María del Nido Carrasco.
