Fermín López ha sido una de las pocas alegrías en Can Barça, ya que el canterano culé ha sido una de las revelaciones del curso. Su andadura en el primer equipo comenzó en una pretemporada en la que ya dejó su huella con un golazo ante el Real Madrid en el ya mítico clásico de pretemporada. En cuanto a la temporada regular, Fermín ha disputado un total de 1947 minutos repartidos en 43 partidos en los que ha logrado anotar 11 goles y ha repartido una asistencia.
